Wonderful story!
This is one of the best books I have listened to in a long time. My only complaint about the story is the ending. I’m not a fan of how everything was neatly wrapped up in the last hour.
The narrator is not the worst but also not the best. For the most part all of the characters sound the same.

Life Altering
I cried twice and I'm a man. This is my wife's favorite book and she has begged me to read it. I told her I'm just not into that sort of book. After studying Hosea in my Bible study I was moved and my wife said the book was based off of the bible story. I gave it a shot and am so grateful I did.

Surprisingly Amazing
I couldn’t stop listening. When I saw how many hours the book was, I figured it’d take me weeks to get through the whole story as I can only listen to books a little at a time. This gripped me from the start with its sadness and evolving beauty. I consumed it split between 2 days, listening at every free second I could find. It sits with me now. So raw and beautiful, you can’t help but be introspective after listening. Very much recommend.

Love! Recommend for older ladies
I heard a ton of my friends read this in middle school. That is simply way too young in my opinion for this kind of book. I would also argue not for those deeply struggling with lust.
