My name is Carrie Dowd, and I know how the deed is done, the circumstances surrounding the person's disappearance, and the turmoil the victim endured. But who did it always evaded me, even after a missing girl's mother reached out for help.
How am I going to assist a mourning family if I cannot truly reveal what my psychic mind saw?

I Love a great supernatural tale, a Love story, PNR, a Cool Mystery and Most Sci-Fi....if there are vampires, weres or witches in it, that's a plus! Basically I am a 40+ y/o young at heart woman rediscovering the wonderful world of books and am now addicted! Lol I LOVE AUDIBLE!!!!!
I liked the story and narration!
I liked the ending...and cant wait for #2!
She has a pleasant voice and I would love to listen to her again!
I actually did! I devoured it!
** I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review **
I loved the concept of this book and was immediately drawn to Carrie....She is a sensitive artist type who has a gift...she can read peoples emotions and feel what they feel..and is a psychic....she helps find missing murder victims for bereaved people...she is in the middle of a messy divorce and has a new love interest that she is struggling with...but unbeknownst to her she is in grave danger from someone who is close to her....great story and mystery....and I will definitely continue this series!! I recommend!!! Thank you, Audiobookblast(dot)com
It makes me happy to wake up everyday and look forward to listening. Many times I listen while doing artwork. I find it very relaxing.
PSYCHIC PERCEPTION was a good start to a series. The listener was able to get a good characterization idea of the protagonist whose a likeable, sweet person. Carrie is a psychic but it seems that other things keep getting in her way blocking her energy. Namely, her ex-husband Steve. And whoever is stalking her.
I felt the story was a little busy and took a few different directions, it was still a great first book. While listening to it, the time escaped me so I was definitely engaged. The story had some good twists which I liked that I didn't see coming. Overall, I feel that CANDY O'DONNELL is on the right track with the story and it had a nice ending. I can see this continuing and getting better.
LORI FAIELLA does a fantastic job narrating this audiobook. I've listened to her before and love her voice. I think she read the characters just fine. I always knew who was speaking and her voice fit Carrie perfectly. I think she was an asset to the story.

This audiobook had my attention from the beginning and held it all the way through the end.. The author did an excellent job at pulling and keeping my attention the entire time. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes this topic.
Books books books
This is right up there in the most enjoyable and fun. I even played some of it to others so they could hear how amazing it was.
This book had so many unique qualities I would have to compare it to the first time I listened to Charlaine Harris or the Twilight series.
She really made the book for me. Her voice was perfect for the main character, and her characterizations of the of the other characters was amazing. I could listen to her all day long. She's very very talented.
I think it would be the meditation teacher, he was wise and had much sage advice. It probably wouldn't be Carrie, she can read minds! Lol!
I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants something fresh, different and powerful. I plan on listening to every book Lori Faiella narrates. She is really special.
I am addicted to books. Nothing makes me happier than crawling inside a good book.
Probably not as I've stated before I don't usually re-read/listen to a book.
Carrie of course! She goes through a lot being psychic and having to deal with all the images she receives; but yet remains strong! You can't help but have a lot of respect for this character and all that she goes through in this book.
The depth of emotions being conveyed.
Carrie, because without her, there wouldn't be a story.

Yes. For the reason it's really interesting.
The scene in the very beginning really stands out.
A fantastic, suspenseful story.
This is hard to read with exact proper english. It takes away from the story and feels like there is no emotion. It would be ok if it were only the main character but it is every character. It reads like a term paper with no contractions and terms only high society would use. I wanted to like it and if you can get past this matter then it would be a pretty good book. Very hard listen!
I am a wee bit over the half a century mark in years. I enjoy audiobooks, cats, rats and most days my family, not necessarily in that order!lo
I found this story very scattered.I had a hard time listening to it due to the narrators stilted reading. It was very distracting.
I was given this book for an honest opinion
"Very good and very well written"
Throughout the novel the author allows the reader to take the journeys along with Carrie to find each of the victims as she senses where they are and hopes to hear them guide her to where they might be. You connect with the main character through this journey.
The characters are real and crafter in a tangible vivid light and the storyline is easily followed keeping the reader entertained and entranced from start to finish.
The narration was brilliant keeping a good pace with the characters brought to life in a way that swept me along.
My name is Carrie Dowd, I know how the deed is done, the circumstances and the turmoil the victim endured, who you are may evade me, but I will find you!
