A must Read
This book is quite raw from the language to the details. I was raped and molested as a child and This book hits every detail that I went through. If I could tell my story it wouldn't be that far off of what is in this book. I just wish there was an ending. If you have been in a situation like this reading the book makes you feel like your not alone in the world, like the feelings you felt as a child we're normal. I highly recommend reading this book.

INSPIRING
THE BOOK WAS FULL OF STORIES OF TRUTH AND PASSION. FULL OF PAIN AND REGRETS. THE DIFFERENT STORIES FROM SO MANY DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS. I WAS ABLE TO RELATE TO SOME OF THEM. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE READ BY WOMEN ALL OVER THE WORLD.

Not for me...
I read some of the reviews for this book before I bought it and alot of them were positive. So I bought it. I got part way into the book and couldn't take it anymore. I would not sugest this book to anyone.

DID NOT LIKE.
I know I'm probably not in the majority on this review but I just didn't like this book. The way she talks just gets annoying after a while. You'd think that as she starts to learn correct English and grammar and whatnot that she'd begin to speak correctly -- or at least somewhat correctly, but she doesn't and it kind of gets annoying. I mean I felt sorry for the girl and I was glad that she found a way out of her situation but some of the content was just vulgar and overall gross.

'Unforgettable'...and I'd really like to!
What a lost opportunity. Having seen the previews for the movie, and hearing the accolades, I bought this book to hear a story of triumph out of tragedy, of beauty out of ugliness, only to find uncomparable tragedy and ugliness within the book itself. This book sickened me. It didn't have to, it could have been written with an eye to enlighten the reader without being as uncouth and tasteless as it's subject matter. Again, what a lost opportunity...

Sad but true
This audio book was completely vulgar and disgusting. At times, I was turned off and even repulsed by it. The narration meanwhile, portraying an uneducated teen-age girl is extremely annoying. Had it not been a true story, I would have hated it altogether. As is, I found it almost pointless as I got absolutely nothing out of it, except for saying this girl truly went through a horrible, horrible childhood that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

I couldn't finish this, so don't take my 2 stars that it's not a well written/well narrated book. I just can't finish it. The story is written in such graphic detail, I just couldn't handle it. Yes, I could handle the movie, but I can't finish the book.
