Publisher's summary

The forces of darkness have a new enemy!

Enter the terrifying world of former Special Ops soldier Mark Talon and occult expert/tech billionaire Simon Casca. Two men, united by tragedy, with one goal - to keep the world safe from black magic occult threats. Their chilling missions will take them across the globe and pit them against apocalyptic cults, cursed relics and supernatural terrorists bent on world destruction.

The edition includes the first three books plus a bonus novella. Experience a series that listeners are describing as a perfect mix of action-adventure and paranormal horror.

Damnation Code (book one)

After a decade spent fighting the enemy abroad and keeping his country safe, Delta Force Operator Mark Talon is ready to settle down with the love of his life. But Talon's world crumbles when his fiancée becomes the victim of a murderous cult. The military man now has a new foe in his crosshairs, and this promises to be a very different war.

The person responsible for his beloved's death is a Silicon Valley tycoon allied with the forces of darkness. Fusing cutting-edge computer technology with an ancient evil, the enemy here cannot be stopped by bullets alone. If Talon is to be victorious in his mission of vengeance, he will need to master a new method of warfare - the arcane arts! He must become...the Occult Assassin.

Apocalypse Soldier (book two)

At age 15, Nicole Robertson was possessed by a demonic entity. She survived this ordeal, thanks to a successful exorcism. Now, eight years later, Nicole is still haunted by the memory of the demon. But the nightmare isn't over. She is about to become the target of an apocalyptic cult led by a former elite soldier with a chilling plan for her future.

Only one man can save Nicole from a fate worse than death.

Only one man stands between her and the apocalypse.

His name is Mark Talon. And he is about to go up against his most dangerous enemy yet.

Spirit Breaker (book three)

The former Delta Force Operator must confront an evil psychic cult leader and the spectral forces of the afterlife that he commands. Fortunately Casca's SPIRIT BREAKER program has been developing cutting-edge technology engineered to combat ghosts. A terrifying battle between the living and the dead awaits.

Ice Shadows (bonus novella)

Talon heads to Norway to stop a Black Metal musician who plans on using an ancient Norse ritual to trigger a frozen cataclysm.

Well read, easy listen and exciting

If you could sum up Occult Assassin: Dark Missions (Books 1-3) in three words, what would they be?

Awesome, entertaining, and suspense

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that two people from two different worlds were working together to combat evil.

Any additional comments?

This book was well worth the listen. It kept me on my toes waiting for who was next to die or become evil. I enjoy occult books and like them more when they include information. Thank you to the author for letting me listen. This didn't influence me in anyway. I would have listened regardless.

Lots of action and excellent narration

Occult Assassin: Dark Missions Omnibus edition includes the first 3 books in the OA series with an additional 2 bonus shorts and clocks in at just under 15 hours. To be honest, I wasn’t too sure about this one when I first started. I had not read any Massa previously and the premise seemed like it may be a little urban fantasy heavy. Luckily for me there was plenty of action to hold my attention throughout and the narration was excellent, which really added to the overall enjoyment and ambiance of the story. A fast moving and well done series.

I received a copy of this audiobook from the narrator James Foster in exchange for an honest review.

Perfect mix of action adventure and paranormal thriller

It took me a little bit to get into this series of books. You have to put reality on the back burner a little. After I suspended belief in reality I enjoyed it very much. This book was plum full of fast paced action and adventure there were very few down moments. If you like books dealing with the occult here you go this one is for you you will love it. The narration and production were top notch. I received this book from the author publisher or narrator in exchange for a honest review

Great new series

This is a pretty good start to a new military occult series. I was given the first 3 books to review for free and I enjoyed them very much. If your interested in military or horror give these books a try. Lots of action the stories move along nicely not to deep but a good way to spend an afternoon.

Very Bloody

This wasn't an easy book to listen to because there was so much graphic violence and death. The story was good and narration was excellent. I'm not sure if I will continue with the series or not.

Not all that

Contrary to all the ravings review, this was not all that. For me it was not riveting or thrilling. You get a few shock value bloody narrations but nothing excessive. The silicone valley plot is unique.

As a delta force guy you get a lot of action. The cult is going all out when it stages an attack at an Apple store. Yet, there is not any real blow back from legal forces. One police officer, who was at the store, has a low key reaction to the other worldliness but she drops out after one story.

There are only two guys both seeking vengeance, one rich and one skilled delta force officer.Talon has a billionaire partner, Casca, Casca survive a Charles Mason experience and has learned all that is cult. Yet with his $ and knowledge he did not have cool toys. Should we believe all this time Casca could not find or create a super fighter? With all the shooting and bombs Talon never receives any extensive damage. Oh and he does fight other delta force guys.

The smoothness, resourcefulness, ability to read others and adept in improvising necessary tactical maneuvers in dicey situations Talon does not display. For me he falls short of an assassin's profile.

It does not have the cool toys of James Bond or the totally bad ass of James Bourne. It toally missed the horror description and categorization of the book.
