Where does Me Before You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

A book that continually is on my mind, and gave me a very different perpective in to a very touchy subject.

What did you like best about this story?

Trying to understand two completely opposed views which were so well presented, that at times you weren't sure what your own views were on the subject.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

It was well read with understanding and feeling

Who was the most memorable character of Me Before You and why?

All of them in their own way were memorable.

Any additional comments?

A book that tests your perceptions of the right to die with dignity, and the effect it has on those close to you, when they have to struggle with loss and face condemnation from others who knew nothing of the person concerned. A reality check.

Great listen!

One of the best, maybe even the best, listen since I started listening to audiobooks. Great narrating, you believe the voices. Usually I'm not to fond of several voices in a title, but it suits this story! Definitely recommended!

Loved the characters and the voices. Loved the story. Kept me interested form start to finish. I have listened to 3 audio books and this was definitely the best. Would definitely read more books like this.

Lou was so lovely and relatable

This is the best book I have listened to in a long time. I was hooked from the beginning. It really gets you thinking and questioning your thoughts and views on life and death. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I felt it all, happy, sad, angry, confused! This book will stick in my mind for a long time. LISTEN to this fantastic story but have the tissues handy.

What did you love best about Me Before You?

The way the story developed and the twist and turns it took and the awakening

Who was your favorite character and why?

Louisa, she thought she was helping Will to only discover that in turn he was helping her

Which scene was your favorite?

In the end where they spent time alone and were just with each other it was so beautiful

If you could take any character from Me Before You out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Definitely Louisa as she is so quirky and bubbly and always thinks of something to say, she is a conversation starter. I would also like to see what she would wear, I would hope that its those bee tights lol

Even though you knew what needed to happen you hope that maybe it would not and when it finally did it was so beautiful and you felt the pain the joy, the freedom and the love in the characters

Great flow, great story, voices easy to listen to.

Good narrator, not too whiney or annoying.

Yes i wanted to be able to listen from start to finish in one sitting.

Amazing Book

I watched the film first, and loved it so much that I watched it a few more times. I watched interviews of the two lead actors and their take on the characters journeys... and that's when I learned it was a book adaptation. Normally I don't like to listen to books after I've seen the film, but this one, I had to- and I'm so glad I did. It filled in so much more of the emotion the film could barely touch on. It painted a far more realistic picture and timeline, of things that went on outside the relationship between Lou and Will, with her family, with Pat... and though this is a book review and not a film review, I have to say you won't be disappointed in either, if you had read it first or seen the film first.

I couldn't put the book down, despite having watched the film several times, despite knowing the outcome... getting a little more insight into everyone's world was addictive. I only wish we could've heard a little more from Will's prospective.
