Lifelong friends Kyle, Allen, Wil, and Jay all make mistakes in their marriages-and all get kicked to the curb by their wives. Are you ready for a good laugh?

Where does Married Men rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Number one.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jay was my favorite character. It is hard picking one person because they all were pretty funny and interesting in their own way.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first one.

If you could take any character from Married Men out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take Al because he was so sweet.

Any additional comments?

If you are going to listen to this book and you are in public, be ready to laugh out loud and have people think you are a little crazy. They will certainly ask what you are listening to.

After further thinking.....

At first I thought these guys are a bunch of pansies, but after further thinking I thought this is mostly how men are supposed to be..... In touch with their sensitivity and the willingness to communicate and beg if the situation is neccessary.....

I really felt bad for Will and Allan the most. Will because Diane took stubbornness to a whole other plateau, she was very aggravating and she only learned her lesson sort of after being put in the same situation. Instead of her saying I messed up she still made him "suffer" so I feel like she truly didn't get it. Allan because he was getting dogged out by his mama and wife, all the while he kept a humble head. Hats off to him for that 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I'm glad in the end he got his happily ever after.

Much better acting than the previous book

I like that each character was played by different actors/ actresses. would have loved to Kyle and Lisa to have had more discussion and closure regarding his feelings about how a black man is treated in current society eyes as well the issues that interracial relationship face from within.

A Must Read

Carl Weber keeps the reader/listener on the edge of their seat with his zippy tales of 4 married men. The narrators do an excellent job and the story flows from one character to the next very smoothly. Not at all a borin gread and well worth the download

Entertaining and Attention Holding

This is a good read and a good storyline with some good twists and turns, and a few "out loud" laughs to boot! This book entertained me and had me wanting more when it ended. I look for books that will grab my interest quickly suck me into the story and keep me interested and motivated to keep listening. This book was well written and the characters were well developed. I like stories that moves me to become emotionally connected with the characters so that I come to care about what happens to them. I still wonder why "one of the boys" were allowed to get so involved with one woman whose lying and gold digging tendencies were known by his friends. Still, even that part of the story was interesting albeit a little on the stupid side. While it took a few chapters to get all the character names and their mates memorized, the layout of the novel was very helpful in that regard.

Overall, this book was full of entertainment and I recommend it for that reason. The narrators were very good too.

Now enter the world of Carl Weber's Married Men.

Would you listen to Married Men again? Why?

I would if it were not for the abundance of cursing. If one doesn't mind that, indeed I would.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes definitely although I didn't. I listen to my books while driving to work, but if it's good I will take a long drive and just listen. This was one of them.
