Well, perfect except that the phone’s owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesn’t agree. He wants his phone back and doesn’t appreciate Poppy reading his messages and wading into his personal life.

What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other’s lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents . . . she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.

All kinds of emotions!

Sophie Kinsella's writing really has a way of putting me right in the character's place, feeling what they are feeling. And the emotions of the texting conversation are spot on - the description of 'the magical bubble .... being able to say things in text that you can't in person .... it is really perfection! Lots of emotions when listening to this book, and her words left unsaid are just delicious! I thought 'Can You Keep A Secret?' was amazing but 'I've Got Your Number' takes its place.

No. I feel like the entire storyline was closed.

Just Wonderful

I love the book. I have read it 4 or 5 times and know that I've listened the audio book narrated amazingly by Ms Entwistle I think I love the story even more.

Silly Girl Finds Dreamboat Match

Sophie Kinsella is a vacation, junk food, escape my reality type of author. I know this. This is why I read her. But although the performance of this piece was exquisite, and the story fun, I guess my love affair of silly women making fools of themselves over men or behaving like children in regards to them is over. The whole being engaged to someone and falling in love with someone else thing leaves me cold and the idea that she would marry someone so hideous as Magnus or endure his family is a bit affronting to me. Makes me feel less inclined to swoon over the very swoon worthy Sam. But he is delicious. And she is funny even if I had to take a break in the middle because of the emails she sent in his name (what grown woman does that ?). The narrator is brilliant.

Super cute enjoyable listen. I feel all giddy and romantic (just finished). I was at the edge of my seat at the end.

Great plot. Strong character development. Hilarious scenes, and some touching ones. And the reader is perfect.

I loved this book!

Some of the bad reviews made me hesitant to listen to this, but I'm happy I ignored them! I absolutely adored this book. Such a great romantic comedy. The narrator's voice took a little getting used to, but 1/3 of the way in and I think it fits Poppy Wyatt perfectly! Def worth a read!

I’m in love!

Okay, I’m not really in love, but it was sure a fun read. Sophie Kinsella certainly makes the journey a lot of fun but I was more than a little worried at several points in this story. Ms. Kinsella knows how to wind up her readers and the journey is well worth the price of admission! Much fun for sure.
