What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other’s lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents . . . she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.

A great listen!

I was a little iffy on this book when I first started listening to it, but it quickly grows on you and by the end you cannot stop listening to it. There are quite a few "cringey but entertaining" bits to the story that I absolutely live for! I enjoyed it :)

Romantic chic lit. Loved it

The stort took some time to develope, but when I got into it I couldn't let go until the end. of course it's a romantic fantasy, but a well written one, with a main character.

Cute but also frustrating

I love the idea of the book but was irrated by Poppy's at times. She was cute and funny but her wishy washy got frustrating and because she runs dialogue in her mind you have to keep track of her thoughts vs actual comments. Loved Sam. Typical man!

Great book, easy and fun. Good for car listening

It is an easy going, easy to follow in a car ride. One of the best of Sophie Kinsella.

My Favorite Sophie Kinsella Book

If you're looking for a great beach read, this is it. The vocal talent has the perfect voice, the story is laugh out loud at times and pulls at the heart strings at others but won't make you cry. Great story & narration!

This is a great read! It's a love story. a perfectly written love story, a perfectly narrated love story, a very fun ride all the way through! It's a keeper!

The book is funny and entertaining. Love this author and this is the second book on tape that I have listened to by Sophie Kinsella. Great story.

New Favorite!

Think Bridget Jones! Oh my gosh this book had my attention from the get go. Poppy is a fitting name for the main character, your never quite sure what's going to pop out of her mouth and then you want to pop it back in and throw away the key for her! Loved it!!!

Loved the Narrator!! Book was good as well.

Which character – as performed by Jayne Entwistle – was your favorite?

The lead, Poppy. Had me laughing the WHOLE time. Her voices were great and she had the attitude which is hard to find in an audiobook sometimes.
