Stellar performance of a stellar novel.
Read it years earlier but had been wanting to revisit it. When I saw Stephen Lang did the Audible version (Quarritch from Avatar), I jumped at it. Well worth your time and money.

My 1st Hill book.
I like horror and wanted to check out what Hill has to offer plus Steven Lang narrating. Story was eh and langs performance was also just ok. i did enjoy the ending and grew to like the characters, love the dogs. NOTE: Alot of this book takes place on the road. The characters could have went threw alot less pain if they would just stopped at a hospital... and what's up with that horrible techno music between chapters.

Great story - even better performance!
I so enjoyed listening to this book! The characters were so well developed that I can easily picture them. Then the narrators did an amazing performance. Google shows Warner Brothers have the rights but have not turned this into a film yet. Why not WB? Also I saw Joe Hill wanted Russell Crowe to play Judas Coin but that was 8 years ago. I was picturing Johnny Depp - except he doesn’t have the build. He does know how to hold a guitar though & a missing finger.

Excellent!
My first Joe Hill book and I loved it! I’m a Stephen King constant reader and read In the Tall Grass first. A collaboration and wanted to see if Joe was as good by himself. The performance was excellent too.

Like father like son
