The narration is wonderfully done; Geraint Wyn Davies has an exceptional accent and elocution. The stories are what you would expect to find in a small, classic horror collection. I do wish Lovecraft would get included in more of these and that Mr. Wyn Davies would narrate more collections/books. Other than those extraneous complaints, it is well worth the money and should be a part of everyone's classic horror collection.
This audiobook on has a few classic horror stories, but they are good ones. I felt the narrator overacted a bit in some, trying to make it more dramatic. A bit of a fail but I warmed up to his voice in the end. I enjoyed his reading of The Body Snatchers the best, and does a very creepy voice at the end of A Watcher by the Dead. Recommended!
The stories didn't particularly *scare* me, but I believe the narrator gave the characters a quite natural feel and the writing was clever enough to keep me entertained.
