Historically true and fascinating!

This entire series leads you thru Genghis and his line. While staying true to history, it is addicting. I recommend this to everyone!

just as good as the first.

Narrator is not as good as the first book but I got used to him. did not get me wrong he is a good narrators but he pronounces names differently and that drives me crazy. he also pronunicates some names with some exaggeration that I am not a fan of but it's not bad ; I just prefer the first narrator. the story however is just as good as the first - starting the third right now.

Watch out for a new narrator

This is a great book. But they changed the narrator from book 1. It is a huge change. It took perhaps 1/2 of the book until I adapted to the new narration style, voices, etc. It is a massive turnoff and I almost stopped listening.

Good but shouldn't have changed

Shouldn't have changed narrators from the first book. Took awhile to get used to the new reading style. O oo

Great Follow Up!

The first book was amazing, and this was a great continuation of the story. It was fun to be back with the characters I met in the first book, and to meet new characters that I can feel will play a big role down the road.

The narrator for me was fine. Different from the first book, but not hard to get used to. I was worried before getting the book that I might not like it because of the different narrator, as others mentioned in their reviews, but it turned out fine.

Now on to the next book!
