Critic reviews

"Koontz is a master of the edge-of-your-seat, paranoid thriller and perhaps the leading American practitioner of the form.” ( The Star-Ledger)
“Koontz writes first-rate suspense, scary and stylish.” ( Los Angeles Times)
“A rarity among bestselling writers, Koontz continues to pursue new ways of telling stories, never content with repeating himself. He writes of hope and love in the midst of evil in profoundly inspiring and moving ways.” ( Chicago Sun-Times)

I hope it's not the end of the series

Would you consider the audio edition of Frankenstein, Book Five: The Dead Town to be better than the print version?

I like the audiobook verse because I am able to listen to it while I am driving or otherwise occuppied without having to wait till I have time enough to back to the book.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Christopher Lane?

The Best In Series

This book is so good, I'll listen to it again. The first book of the Frankenstein series was very good. This one is just as good, but the new characters were great. they really made the 5th book exceptional.

I loved the Frankenstein series!

as I have said before, Christopher Lane is such an entertaining narrator, that I found myself feeling as if I was actually reading a movie and being a part of it. Much like if I were reading it on my own. Great ending... but I will miss all the characters in this book. They have become my friends.

Fantastic Frankenstein

Dean Koontz does it again. Horror and good times all rolled into one. Oh how I yearn for more of the same.
Wish that this story never ended.

It is worth every penny to hear Lane become Jocko

This fifth story was a little disappointing because the ending seemed a little forced and less fulfilling. But it was still very entertaining. You have got to listen to Christopher Lane when he becomes Jocko. I laughed through all four books once Jocko was introduced. Great work Mr. Lane!
