Critic reviews

"Weber keeps the pacing brisk and loads the narrative with enough surprise turns to keep readers guessing to the end." ( Publishers Weekly)

Carl Weber Rocks!

The First Lady was an awesome listen. If you've read any of Weber's books, you know how dysfunctional (aka normal) everyone is and this book had it's share! It was hilarious!! The book had so much humor and drama I hated for it to end. If you're not familiar with Weber's books, give this one a try - you won't be disappointed!

Hallelujah!

I'm a Christian and I've been in church all my life, but I know how "holier than thou" church folks can be. Kudos to the author for portraying REAL people with REAL issues trying to serve God. The audio production was outstanding! The ensemble cast brought this story to life and it was a joy to listen to each character. Very well done by all. I recommend it highly!

Hard to believe...

The story was easy to listen to, but the plot of it was a little carried away to me... IF there is a man out there that is that HOLY... show me him! I found myself drifting off...

Good Book

Loved it. I like the fact that this book includes the fact that we're all human. Christian or not. Human first.

Really inspirational

I really love this Book-it really was realistic to what may happen in the churches today and that we are all human no matter what title we may hold GOD has the answer.

Was just ok

It's not like the others in the series. needed more to happen. Why didn't the Bishop find out Who Lisa really Was?

Excellent

Would you consider the audio edition of First Lady to be better than the print version?

Yes

What was one of the most memorable moments of First Lady?

When bishop T. K. Wilson married Monique instead of Lisa May.

What about various’s performance did you like?

I liked that each character had its own personality and emotions.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes without a doubt.

Any additional comments?

This entire series was full of drama and static. I loved it.
