so much better than the TV series
I started reading the outlander series because I fell in love with the story from the TV show. I still love the TV show but I must admit that as always the book is so much better. if you haven't read it I highly recommend it.

Great story but long
You will enjoy this book if you liked Outlander. though it is drawn out, I am sure if will mean more and come together as more of the series is listened too. Great narrator.

Best voices and narration I’ve ever experienced!
Unbelievable how one narrator could manage so many distinct voices!! And the clever story based on history was instructive too. Brava to author and narrator!

Loving this series
I jumped on the band wagon, after binge watching the show… but the book (as always) is full of so much more description and historical insights and I just love it so much.
Davina Porter does a fantastic job with all the voices!

Love the book. Davina is a QUEEN.
I love this series. The characters, the writing, the history. But nothing tips Davina Porter’s performance narrating. Scots, English, French, American accents, man, woman, child voices. She’s a treasure. So terribly sad she has retired before narrating the 10th (last??) Outlander book.

Even better than the first book
Very well written. This book makes you feel like you are living inside it and you are emotionally invested. I read it many years ago and loved it, I love the audible version even more. You can relax and close your eyes and see it as you hear it.

Will keep you on the edge of your seat!
So many wonderful surprises in this book! The narrator did an exquisite job of giving each character their own voice. I felt as though I could see them. 10/10 recommend this book. I was bewitched from the first to the chapter.
