Publisher's summary

In this rollicking tale, best-selling author Dixie Cash - author of My Heart May Be Broken but My Hair Still Looks Great - sets Salt Lick's own sleuthing cosmetologists on a collision course with the Big Apple.

On an all-expenses-paid trip to a New York PI convention, the Texas Tornadoes hope to do some serious shopping. But that's before they stumble across a serial killer.

Critic reviews

"Cash's good ole gals always get their man, and deliver big laughs in the process ... Quickwitted, fast paced, and plain old fun, Cash's madcap series just keeps getting better." ( Booklist)

Too Much Babbling

This might have been a fun story but the Texas drawl and the constant babbling just drove me crazy. Excuse me, but babbling through a murder they could have stopped - seriously. And the reader drove me crazy. There were 2 female Texans; one was ok to listen to and the other - OUCH. I think that was the worst part.
