Story
Like most amateur golfers, Tom Coyne had often wondered whether the pros won because they were more talented or because they were more obsessed. Overweight and burdened by a 14 handicap, he decided to find out for himself what it takes to play like a pro. Charting his journey - which included hiring top golf gurus such as Dr. Jim Suttie - Paper Tiger takes listeners from the Michelob tournament (a win for Tom) to the Australian Tour, where 40-mile-per-hour winds and a driving rain scare off his Japanese partners.

Dan Jenkins best work
insanely hilarious, and still as fitting as in 1971 about life on the PGA Tour. Here's to all the Kenny Lee Pucketts in the world

Chock full of ewwwww.....
The narrator is great, but the story is terrible. This was actually made into a very clever movie starring Randy Quaid, minus all the suck.

Enjoyed the movie so I thought I’d try the book. Big mistake. I don’t know how they made a good movie out of this junk.

Surprisingly Bad
As vulgar and immature as a writer can be. I’ll avoid Dan Jenkins May have grown up since he wrote this. I hope so.
