Loved every minute

I listened to this book out of order and I am glad I did. It stands alone. I laughed and cried. The whole series has been one of the best and the reader made it even better. The only reason I started the series is because I searched out the readers other books. I am so glad I did.

I really like this author.

Rather intense at times, but good story...

and narration was not bad, but I do wish there was a woman narrator for those parts. Christian aspect was not enough for me, but it made it's point.

Loved it !

I have read this series several times and enjoy it each time as if it is the first time. This is the prequel to the O'Malley Series. The next one is The Negotiator. It is a must read series.

A bit less realistic than some of Hendersons others but nonetheless it is excellent. I recommend

This book is one both my husband and I enjoyed. It is well-written and held our attention throughout. In fact, we listened to it at every opportunity. It's one that anyone who appreciates good Christian suspense will enjoy.

Good listen

I have read this as a softcover book however it has been some time so it was like new to me all over again. The narrator Tom Stechschulte is not my favorite but it was okay. He doesn't do female characters well. The heroine was a strong character. Her circumstances were complex and hard to imagine facing. Her love interest proved an equally strong character.
It is so refreshing to read fiction without vulgar language and strong convictions.

I have read this book before and really enjoyed it. I think I would have enjoyed a narration done by a man and a woman more though.

This was a great book, and I will be purchasing more of this series! I really enjoyed how the author tied in Christianity with a very good story.
