Publisher's summary

NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE • From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Party Crasher and Love Your Life comes a novel with the same wicked humor, buoyant charm, and optimism as her beloved Shopaholic series.

“Sophie Kinsella keeps her finger on the cultural pulse, while leaving me giddy with laughter.”—Jojo Moyes, author of The Giver of Stars and The Last Letter from Your Lover

Meet Emma Corrigan, a young woman with a huge heart, an irrepressible spirit, and a few little secrets:

Secrets from her boyfriend: I’ve always thought Connor looks a bit like Ken. As in Barbie and Ken.

Secrets from her mother: I lost my virginity in the spare bedroom with Danny Nussbaum while Mum and Dad were downstairs watching Ben-Hur.

Secrets she wouldn’t share with anyone in the world: I have no idea what NATO stands for. Or even what it is.

Until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger. . . .

But come Monday morning, Emma’s office is abuzz about the arrival of Jack Harper, the company’s elusive CEO. Suddenly Emma is face-to-face with the stranger from the plane, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her. Things couldn’t possibly get worse. Or could they?

Very funny and yet able to touch all emotions.

Sophie has a way of making the ribs hurt with laughing and taking you on an up and down roller coaster of emotions. Suspense is around every corner in this book. It's like reading a mystery but is not a mystery. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is for the "f---" word which I don't feel is needed. It took away from the books funny side.

Great Book!!!!

The main character, Emma, was awesome and hilarious. I could relate to her a lot. She had me laughing hysterically quite a few times throughout the whole book. The story's narration was good too and I really enjoyed myself.

Cheers for Emma!

Once again Sophie Kinsella delivers a heroine that we want to cheer for and chastise at the same time! Emma is a lovable neurotic dreamer that we start to feel protective of. Spilling your deepest secrets, only to have them resurface at a very inopportune and public moment is shame beyond measure. Yet she endures - and triumphs. Kinsella builds these characters that we want to see succeed, although we hope they do learn a lesson or two along the way. Fun, fluff listen, read very well

Wonderful fun read!

This book was so laugh out loud funny that I would caution you not to operate heavy machinery while you listen. I mean you could seriously go flying off the treadmill in a laughing fit… The narrator did such an awesome job capturing the humor and the spirit of the characters. I would describe this book as fun, light-hearted, and sweet. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Very Funny.

This is a rom com chic flick story and I loved it I have listened to this multiple times. The narrator is good. I like books to have more sex, this has one and not very detailed or long. British girl on plane that goes through turbulence ends up telling American man her "secrets" real fast cause she thinks the plane is going to crash. Then when she goes to work she finds out the owner of the company has come to visit and it happens to be the same american man from her plane ride. I would have given 5 stars if it had more sex.

Excellent Narration

This is a feel good, laugh out loud story. I absolutely adored Emma and found her so relatable. The Narrator did an EXCELLENT job of voicing all the characters and making the humor in the book seem even funnier. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much just reading it on my own. Ms. Reading really bought so much more to the story!

Lots of foul language

I was gripped by the story but there was an excessive amount of foul language. I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.
