Leaves you wanting more... get all 3 books

This is one of the funniest books I've read in a long time.. I absolutely enjoyed every minute... don't waste time buying each book separately. Download them all now: Bloodsucking Fiends, Bite Me and You suck; that way you will not have to waste a minute getting to the next one. Very very enjoyable. Highly recommend. Also, loved the SF Bay Area setting.

Susan doesn't really get Tommy's voice right.

She really makes him sound like a weakling. Very devious and entertaining story. Well worth the time

Great book

I loved the book and except for it being about Vampires it wasn't as way out there as some of his work. Kept me entertained and smiling.

Funny and entertaining.

Great characters one of which being the city of San Francisco itself. I was hoping for more during the final face off. Looking forward to reading part two.

This one was ok.

Would you try another book from Christopher Moore and/or Susan Bennett?

The story was really good but the voice ing wasn't.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bloodsucking Fiends?

The beginning when she was discovering what she has become. And her first blood drinking.

Did Susan Bennett do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

No I'm sorry but Susan was a bit on the flat side and each character sounded pretty much the same.

Was Bloodsucking Fiends worth the listening time?

I would have been a better read on paperback.

Typical Vamp Story meets Moore's brand of comedy

If you could sum up Bloodsucking Fiends in three words, what would they be?

Gothic, Funny, Sarcastic

What other book might you compare Bloodsucking Fiends to and why?

Interview With a Vampire meets Zany Comedy with a good dose of Great (well-defined) characters mixed in.

Which character – as performed by Susan Bennett – was your favorite?

C. Thomas Flood, despite the fact that C means absolutely nothing. His oung naivety mixed with his good heart and sense of sarcasm come together to create a great character.

Jodi, however, is also a great character for completely different reasons. She's a very strong female lead that grew upon me more nad more as the boook went on.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Quite a few moments made me laugh out loud.

The way the book ends, however, absolutely shocked me. Not what happens to flood, rather what Flood does to Jodi in order to keep her... That part cracked me up and kind of disturbed me...

Any additional comments?

Blood Sucking Fiends doesn't add any real originality to the Vampire story as far as Vampire stories go. BUT, this book is squarely a situational comedy more than it is a vampire story. The Vampire story simply serves as a fram in which to introduce these great characters, crazy situations, and laugh out loud moments.

If you're in the mood for some "light" listening that won't make you think too much, but will keep you smiling, look no further.

Well-written & surprisingly funny!

I put off reading this book for a while, thinking that it would just be an "okay" read. So sad that I waited so long! I can't wait to see what else Christopher Moore has to offer.
