Different twist on a love story
If you could sum up Beautiful Disaster in three words, what would they be?
Unique, lovable, engaging
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that it was unlike any love story I had ever read and didn't fall into the same pattern that most do.
What about Emma Galvin’s performance did you like?
Her voice can take on any character.
Who was the most memorable character of Beautiful Disaster and why?
I really like America. I would like to have a best friend like her.
Any additional comments?
I am 46 and the characters are in college. I could still relate to the story and characters which I thought was pretty amazing.

I've read this book so many times...
This book is my "go-to" when I can't find anything new that interests me... It keeps you hooked through the whole thing and leaves you wanting more. Thank God, Jamie McGuire wrote a whole Maddox Brothers series to satisfy the hunger.

A Beautiful Disaster Review
This book was so amazing. It really gave Abby a character that could be related to and a back story for both for he characters that was just prefect. Overall I think the book was good and I recommend it to anyone who likes to read about love, drama and the life of college students.

Won't be able to listen to this more than once
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I would and have recommended this to many friends. I absolutely love the story.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Reading the story, I really loved Travis. Listening, though, I'm increasingly aware that a voice can make all the difference. I'm not sure I'm a fan of any of the characters while listening.
How could the performance have been better?
A different narrator.
Was Beautiful Disaster worth the listening time?
Only once, in hopes that the narrating style got better.
Any additional comments?
If you have read this book, and are among the many that view Travis as "best book boyfriend", this is not something you want to listen to. I am going to have to re-read the book to get my image of him back, and erase the image of a tyrannical, prepubescent boy from my mind. I kept picturing the nerdy kid at the back of my 8th grade class when she read Travis's lines, or any of the other male characters for that matter.
