Wonderful

Just like the first book in the series. This one is well written, very detailed and descriptive. It was inspiring and uplifting and I felt as if I were living back in those times. So happy I have purchased both and will have them in my library to share with others.

Love this story

I love the way the story mixes, historical events and romance. The struggle of salvation and sin, as well as the power of prayer is so good.

So powerful

This story is so well written and is such a great wealth of information as to why Christianity is so different from any other faith practice. I believe the Holy Spirit has anointed the writing and study Francine Rivers has done.

Her characters are real in so many ways. I thank God for her!

The narrator also does very well at displaying emotion and truth.

Best series ever!

This third book was no letdown! The first two and this one all kept me on the edge of my seat. They are full of faith and romance. Details that seem so realistic. I would totally recommend it to anyone. I plan to listen to them again!! Thank you so much Francine Rivers!!

Book 2 did not disappoint!

I see my own struggles hidden between the lines of this story! I want to be like Hadassah! What a beautiful tragic real life story! I liked the ending and can’t wait to read book 3. I love the narration as well! He made it so interesting with the different voices! So well done! I highly recommend this trilogy.

Inspirational and challenging

I found myself drawn into the first century World, like no history text has ever done. I also realized my reflection in several of the less than honorable characters while simultaneously inspired by the champion level faith of others.

this is my second reading of the series and I can’t wait to begin Book 3.

Their faith!

My youngest sister kept saying when she was dying “do you see them?” She saw angels! I cried when Julia said the same thing because it happened in real life with my sister. God sent angels so my sister, Barbara, could die at peace. I closed Barbara’s eyes and thanked God for His love and care for my sister.
I had been with Barbara two months before she died helping to take care of her. I urged Barbara to make things right with certain people. Through many tears she did make things right. Jesus had forgiven Barbara and she needed to ask forgiveness from others she had wronged.

I believe you can see why your story was so emotional for me!
Thank you! Carolyn (Kay) to my sister.
