Soon to be a major motion picture!

Audiences are invited along on A Dog’s Journey, the next chapter of the beloved best-selling series by author W. Bruce Cameron. The family film told from the dog’s perspective serves as the much-anticipated follow-up to the soulful story of one devoted dog who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love.

After searching for his purpose through several eventful lives, Buddy is sure that he has found and fulfilled it. Yet as he watches curious baby Clarity get into dangerous mischief, he is certain that this little girl is very much in need of a dog of her own.

When Buddy is reborn, he realizes that he has a new destiny. He's overjoyed when he is adopted by Clarity, now a vibrant but troubled teenager. When they are suddenly separated, Buddy despairs - who will take care of his girl?

Directed by Gail Mancuso (TV’s Modern Family, Roseanne), A Dog's Journey is once again produced by Gavin Polone (A Dog’s Purpose, Zombieland). Mancuso directs from an adapted screenplay by Cameron and Cathryn Michon and Wally Wolodarsky and Maya Forbes, based on the book by Cameron. The film from Amblin Entertainment and Walden Media will be distributed by Universal Pictures.

A charming and heartwarming story of hope and unending devotion, A Dog’s Journey is the moving story of unwavering loyalty and a love that crosses all barriers.

A real heart felt book

I've read this book before I listened to it, and read it before A Dog's Purpose( the beagle is too cute!) and silently balled when I finished it. And I cried again while I finished it, too, this series really gets you in the heart. Really makes you love your dog all the more.

Just as great as the first book

I loved this audio book just as much as I did years ago when I was reading it in class when I was in middle school. Now that I'm an adult I find my self better understanding situations that I otherwise looked over as kid. I especially love how this author allows for the reader( or listener) to try any piece things tother that even the main character who is a dog can't comprehend. I find myself realizing that I just may need to get another dog. I had forgotten that feeling of putting my pal and all my sadness drifting away.

Sigh, a loving tribute from Man's best friend...

This put a lump in my throat and a smile on my face many times through the reading. I has made me look at my dog and cat in a whole new light. What is there purpose and what is my role in helping them fulfill it. If you love your pets and feel a strong connection to your dog..this is a must read. Especially if you have loved and lost a pet, your heart will sing to have a unique perspective. A lovely follow up to a Dog's Purpose by the same author. The narrator is terrific as well. A+++

Wonderfully Touching

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I loved this book, just as much as the first book. This tale of the unconditional love of a dog shows the known true colors of a dog being a guardian, protector, and companion. Anyone who loves dogs should read this book; instead of seeing through the human point of view, enjoy seeing through the dog point of view filled with the humor and reality of life, unfolding for us to see in the eyes of the protagonist. I believe any doglover would enjoy this book, if they are as crazy about animals as I am :)

Wonderful sequel

I guess I'm just an emotional sot, but I loved this book so much, as much as it's prequel, actually. Hopefully everyone has either read or heard of " The Story of a Dog," the prequel. The continuation is heartrending at times, but nevertheless it is at times very reassuring.
If at any time you have ever heard of, or believed in, the Rainbow Bridge, this will reassure and rein- force that belief. The reader will give a palpable sigh of belief as the story ends. Go with love,
my friend.

A Dogs Sequel! It was a good sequel

This story touched my heart just has deeply as A Dogs Purpose. It so amazingly captured what I think most dog luvers feel their dog must be thinking, at least it does for this dog luver. It made me laugh and of course cry but mostly made me like ver my dog even more than I already do. Thank you for writing these books. 🐾🐾
