What does George K. Wilson bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?
He has an amazing way of changing his voice tone for different characters. I loved how he made Gloria sound as whiny in her speech as she was in her character

Great story, but a little dark
I read both A Dog's Purpose and A Dog's Journey, on the recommendation of my students. They are both great stories that drew me in and made me not want to stop reading. You could pick up A Dog's Journey without having read the first, but I would recommend reading them in order as it will be a richer experience. A Dog's Journey deals with much darker topics in the lives of the humans than A Dog's Purpose and I have to admit I was a little sad thinking that my fifth graders had read it. However, being that it is from the perspective of a dog, there topics are dealt with lightly. I would just encouraged parents to read it before letting their young children read it.

A suitable sequel to a Dog's Purpose
Laughter, tears, smiles and sighs occur during your listen to this continuation of what all pet lovers hope is true...the objects of our slavish devotion will return to us later in life, perhaps in a different breed, but their acceptance, their love of us continues through time until we join them on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Great story as always

A Must Read!
A Dog's Journey is one of my favorite books by Bruce Cameron and is by far the most amazing novel I've read. This is a number one must read for any summer reading list or book club. All ages will love this book and it will get you hooked on Bruce Cameron's novels.
