    "A Must Read!"
What made the experience of listening to A Dog's Journey the most enjoyable?

The narrator was outstanding. I could lose myself in the story and completely believe the dog was thinking his thoughts.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved everything about this book and the first book, A Dog's Purpose. I just really loved the premise of this story and "A Dog's Purpose". I found myself looking at my own dogs and wondering "what if?"

Have you listened to any of George K. Wilson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have only listened to this and A Dog's Purpose. The performance was perfect for both.

Who was the most memorable character of A Dog's Journey and why?

I especially liked Max and his determination to be tough in spite of his size.

    Any additional comments?

I really appreciated that adoption of shelter dogs and rescue was shown in such a positive light.

    "A suitable sequel to a Dog's Purpose"

Laughter, tears, smiles and sighs occur during your listen to this continuation of what all pet lovers hope is true...the objects of our slavish devotion will return to us later in life, perhaps in a different breed, but their acceptance, their love of us continues through time until we join them on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

"A Must Read for DOg Lovers"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you are a dog lover this is a great story. Even if you are not crazy about dogs, it addresses how we move along the spiritual continuum.

What does George K. Wilson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has such an earnest voice for the dogs. It was amazing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Cried at the sad points but laughed at the whimsical reflections of the dog.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Dog's Journey to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version.

What other book might you compare A Dog's Journey to and why?

    I loved part 1, A Dog's Purpose but A Dog's Journey was even better.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I loved all of it. There were moments that were very sad but you knew it wasn't over yet.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    YES!

    Any additional comments?

The narrator was awesome. He has a warm fuzzy voice that is perfect for a warm fuzzy animal.

Married mother of three teenagers, back to work after 15 years at home - when I read a lot. Now I am the assistant to the Mayor of Omaha and work at least 60 hours a week, and on top of what I have to do at home - no more books. This lets me listen to the classics, the latest, whatever I want. I can learn or escape. I have always love audio books, but now I NEED them.

"Perfect "companion" to the first book!"

Well written, well read, and so sweet. This is a great completion to "A Dog's Purpose", and definitely recommend that you read them in order. You need go no deeper than the written story, but I have taken away so much more.
I have found myself listening to other books where animals are mentioned in passing - historical accounts - and found myself wondering what those dogs were thinking. Mr. Cameron should write one about the dogs of Winston Churchill, Napoleon, Hitler and Obama. I don't care about the politics involved, I would love to see how one of these dogs would see the world and it's events of the time. And who but his dog could tell us the better side of Adolf Hitler?
Any book that makes you think about the contents long after you are done reading it - is one that should be shared.

    "Feel good story"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I already have because dog lovers can really appreciate the personality and life long commitment of man's best friend

Who was your favorite character and why?

Toby, Max, Molly; all the same dog.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

He did a good job with most of the character voices; some voices got a bit odd but overall, it was so easy to listen to.

Who was the most memorable character of A Dog's Journey and why?

    Toby at the end

    Any additional comments?

The performance and story really felt like seeing things from a dog's point of view. Great read

Avid Audio Book listener. Usual suspects are Leadership, Business, Philosophy, Biographies, and Random Fiction. But once every couple of months I choose a book I might not have picked...ever...but with good reviews.

    Story
"Not quite as good as "A Dog's Purpose" but..."

"A Dog's Journey", the squeal to "A Dog's Purpose", is a similar journey with a more direct story line yet lacks some of the charm the previous book had. If you loved this first book, you will enjoy the second.

"A Dog's Journey" is a more linear, straight forward telling of why a puppy may exist in a human's life. The story is similar to last part of the first book and to really enjoy this book, it would be advised to read "A Dog's Purpose" first for the full back story but not required. While the first one reads to be more about the dog's lives, this is more about who the dog loves and the dog taking care of the ones s/he loves.

The story is well written and a bit heart breaking at times. It takes interesting angles with the dogs life travels but, unlike the first book, seems to be more driven by the main human female lead and her best friend then the dog itself. The human female is the center and glue of the book but you find her "messing up" the dog's story to the point of annoyance at times. Yet her story is true to life and shows when the human's life is in chaos, so is the dogs.

You will find several good love and life stories throughout this tale. While on the dog's journey, s/he constantly shows the different types of humans in this world and how things might or might not be as random as they may seem. The over arching love story of dog/human and human/human though will leave an overall positive feeling in the end.

This is a solid read and will be most enjoyable to people who have read the prequel. Would recommend it as a good weekend read.

    Story
    "Great book for any age"
Where does A Dog's Journey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book ranks among the top 20 books I have listened to, it is the second in the series.

What did you like best about this story?

What I liked best about this is that the whole family enjoyed listening to it from my youngest kids to my mom and there it was a good clean listen that kept you waiting for the next chapter and had a great ending.

Which character – as performed by George K. Wilson – was your favorite?

The litte dog Max was the most memorable charcter, his quirks and fears and eccentricities so true to life.

    Any additional comments?

Great family listen. would buy a third book in the series if there was one.
