Using his special charms and gifts of persuasion, Todd encourages his whole community to help in the "adopt a dog for Christmas program" and, more importantly, teaches his family the true meaning of goodwill.

This was such a heart warming story. It started out a tiny bit slow, but after a short time I was loving every minute of the book. This book made me feel such a wide range of emotions. At times I was chuckling and smiling and sometimes had tears in my eyes. It had such a wonderful ending. I would highly recommend this book to family and friends.
I bought this book to listen to while I did my Christmas preparations. Wrapping presents can be tedious, but I found myself looking for opportunities to sneak away to wrap presents just so I could listen to the story. Incidentally, I got my chores done in record time this year!
The story of A Dog Named Christmas was heartwarming. We do not have a family dog. You definitely don't have to have one to enjoy this book, although by the end you may just find yourself at the local rescue shelter. I loved it so much that, within a week of finishing it, I decided to listen to it again with my 11-year-old daughter during our 30-minute drive to her ballet class. She loved it so much that she was motivated to get her homework done faster so she could listen to the book rather than do work on the drive.
The performance of the narrator is exactly what it should be, so much so that I thought the author was narrating it. It was a wonderful performance. I felt I would like to know these characters in real life and I was sad for the story to end. I'll definitely listen again.
Love to read - began listening to audio books while driving - to keep me from falling asleep. Have grown to LOVE audio books - I'm addicted!
The narrator was amazing. He did such a great job of capturing the emotion and personalities of the characters. The story is just so positive! It made me feel good!
Say something about yourself!
Such a heartwarming story with plenty of giggles. I didn't expect to get as sucked in as I did. Usually I am a mystery thriller horror story kind of reader but this was great. He is accurate on animal shelter operations and I love the message provided! A must for dog lovers!
I'm an admitted dog lover so that may have a part in my enjoyment of this book. That being said this is a heart warming book that reminds us how much happiness a dog can bring to our lives.
Professional artist and art instructor. I listen to audible books when I work on paintings, sew or do housework. I also fall asleep listening to audio books. I like mysteries history science fiction young adult and biographies.
I love animals and this story is about a special needs boy a shelter dog and a war hero father who has memories of a war dog who died in service protecting him. Made me cry but ends well.
This story is pretty short but I enjoyed it a lot. It definitely made me feel good. I saw the movie, which expanded on the story a bit. I like it as well.
I would certainly listen to this again.
When the wife asks the husband and when does Christmas end?
I would take Christmas out. He is one of our uncelebrated hero's.
Loved this book. It really highlighted how much pets impact our lives.
This is one of those feel good stories that warm the heart. A few lessons to be learned -- our lives can be enriched by animals; and our children are here to help us learn those lessons.
