A feel good book to lift your mood
I read or listen to romance novels in secret. It is a habit akin to polishing a carton of Ben and Jerry's ice cream without gaining weight.
I love "Fancy Dancer" for its many characters with flaws and strengths. A precocious child, dogs and truly generous women complete the cast.
There are many twists and turns: deceptions, lies, betrayal and tragedies are revealed. Yet the main protagonists learn to cope, overcome their pains, change their behavior and find happiness.
I found remarkable that the author minimizes the cliches, avoids nauseating descriptions of handsome men, boring soft semi-pornographic amorous moments. Even the vilains have regrets. This story progresses naturally and leaves you feeling good without regrets. A delicious treat for a rainy day.

Entertained as always
I have been reading Fern Michaels for years. She never disappoints. This story was no exception. I liked all the characters and the story line. There were surprises and humor. If you are a Fern Michaels fan you will enjoy!
