Publisher's summary

Sir Percival Rathkeale, the red-haired knight of Viridiae, the Green Land, seeks the lost Grail, a powerful device critical to the survival of his king, his country, and the planet. Merlin, the king's chief science advisor, discovers new clues to the Grail's location. The king appoints Sir Percival to a new expedition to find the Grail.

With Sirs Galahad and Bors and Dame Lancelot du Lac, the strongest warrior in the land, Percival sails for the island of Koda, where he faces dark forces determined to oppose his mission and usurp the king. Will Percival find the Grail, restore his country, and save the world?

Fall of the Green Land, the first novel in the fantasy series The Future History of the Grail, reimagines the King Arthur legends, placing them a thousand years in the future. The second and third books are War for the Green Land and Return to the Green Land.

A twist to the Arthurian legend

Riveting and totally unexpected spin of Merlin and his King Arthur. Love it as I’m always intrigue by a king, a prophet and a priest weaved into a story.

THE ARTHURIAN LEGENDS ARE BACK!

FALL OF THE GREEN LAND BY J.G. FOLLANSBEE NARRATED BY JOSHUA YOUNG fast forwards the legendary Arthurian realm thousands of years into the future. The characters are the same: Mordred/Lancelot/Guinevere/Galahad,they are all here! They are after the Holy Grail, which is a very powerful device for the kingdom.

I feel two ways about FALL OF THE GREEN LAND. I love the way the author and brought the Arthurian characters back to life and put them in a futuristic world, futuristic time without losing the flavor of the Arthurian legends and tales. I am not so crazy about the whole global warming dialog eeking into what I think can be a really great series. I know the premise revolves around the climate change theme but I get enough of that in the news. All in all though,I really liked the audiobook. Joshua Young the narrator did a fantastic job on the voices.
The "old " acquaintances mixing with new characters was well done . The mixing of ye olden times mixed with futuristic tech was done really well. All in all I am really looking forward to hearing what adventures come next in the series.

I received this audiobook free in exchange for an honest review.

A unique spin

This is a solid story with a unique spin on the grail and knights of the round table. I enjoyed the futuristic/apocalyptic view while following Lancelot and the others on their search for the grail.

Interesting take on the legend of King Arthur

I received a free copy of this audiobook with no obligation to review.

What an interesting spin on the legend of King Arthur. I was intrigued by it taking place in the future. For me, there was a lot to keep track of but I thought the narrator did an amazing job with so many characters. Well done.

ARTHURIAN LEGEND in 30 Century

Mordred/Lancelot/Guinevere/Galahad,they are all searching for the Grail. The World is dieing because of climate change and the Grail which is a Machine, that will right this.
Interesting spin on a old tail in a future Century. Narrator does a good job with the storyline and voices. Story gets confusing with all the Plot Twists and trying to follow this gets to be a chore rather then a pleasurable experience.
Do Not believe I will continue to book #2.
