This wonderful series of recollections manages to somehow both be uniquely personal and universal in its feel and approach. Absolutely top-notch. Definitely recommended for any Mets fan but also for anyone who is given their heart to a baseball team.

Starts a bit slow, then really takes off
I'm about halfway through. It was a bit muddled at first, but then gets into a true timeline of a true Met fan. The guy reading this, however, has zero clue of how to pronounce names correctly. Every time he screws up a name, it just cuts right into me.
