Amazing listen!

What an excellent ending to this series, absolutely adore evie and all her friends. Will read more by Emily R King. Highly recommend this series!

this is a great book I am looking forward to more from This author she tells a great story.

better to read than listen

All three books in this trilogy have a charming heroine and a wonderful cast of characters. My only issue is the narrator. She has a lovely voice and does accents and voices really well but the overdramatization of almost everything she says when in the heroine's character is so bad that I have to turn the volume down because it grates on my nerves so badly. This is probably more the director's fault than hers but either way it's really hard to listen to. Everything else about it is great

A beautiful end to an awesome story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series!!! Characters I felt I know and love amidst the madness. I love that the giants have trains and industry and are not just barbaric brainless beast. This book has so much going on but its easy to listen too. I love the character play and dramatization that Lauren gives in her narration. She truly does these stories justice and I appreciate you more than you know for that lol!! Thank you Emily for a great story. I look forward to more of your work!

Everly was told she had to lose to win. Jameson was told they had to lose to win. It wasn't until the last few chapters that I understood what that meant. This is such a beautiful story. I am so glad I found this series.

Remarkable Series - Screaming Narrator Warning

This is a remarkablely well written series of 3 novels. I loved every part of the storyline from beginning to end. The characters are fully developed and elicit strong emptional reactions. The overall plot is consistent throughout while each book is packed full of action and builds on the last. I was sad to finish it and will eagerly search for another book by this author as this was my first. She certainly didn't disappoint! I don't have a lot of time to read such a lengthy series so listened on audible. The narrator did a good job of voicing so many characters. However, just as others have noted, when the main character is experiencing strong emotions of fear etc. she SCREAMS instead of just mildly raising her voice or finding another way to express. I had to walk away from the audio many times out of sheer self protection because I couldn't lower the volume fast enough to avoid her blowing out my eardrums! I read sections of the books out of frustration but in the end I wanted to finish the series and the quickest way to do so was while driving with one hand on the volume.

Good story with some narration issues

I enjoyed the stories very much. I enjoyed the narration for the most part. There were times when it was quite a bit overly dramatic. But the biggest issue was the volume. It would go from a very even storytelling level, but when it got overly dramatic it would get so loud that I actually had to turn the volume down not to bother my neighbors,which became an issue many times during the three books.

Narrator was very good, easy to understand and I like the stories enough to listen to all three books. But it was an issue that detracted severely from the enjoyment overall.

loved, loved, loved it

Sometimes frustrated with impulsiveness of heroine but loved how the relationships wove together. Fabulous narration. Just thoroughly enjoyed this series.

I absolutely loved this series! the story line, characters, and the narration was brilliant! Wow! If your thinking about getting this audiobook... don't think any longer just get it! What an adventure it will take you on!

It's been a while

It's been a while since I've invested so much in a group of characters. I enjoyed the story and appreciate the ending. The narration was wonderful too, with one tiny exception. I couldn't stand the giants' speaking cadence. It's a small thing though and shouldn't stop people from getting this audiobook.
