Gotta love Dr Harris

I love these characters although Gemistry got on my nerves, too winey and passive! Yet, I love how Zane writes, her stories flow well and she does her research to set the scenes perfectly and this book is no exception.

Although I love the voices of both narrators, I don’t believe they were right for this book; not bringing out the highs and lows that exist among the pages.

The only critique is that the two narrators don’t overlap in conversation meaning the each narrator does both female/male characters. It appears unnecessary when you have a male and female narrators and again the voices just weren’t relatable for this story.

Loved this book

Finally a positive love story with positive African/American characters. This story is for every person whom holds out hope for happily ever after despite early obstacles in their love life. Well done!
