Frank and Eve regularly frequent the dogging circuits where she accepts up to a dozen different men in a single night. Roger and Sonia spend Saturday evenings having sex in their lounge while their friends sit by and watch. Grace and Harry own a large estate and host bacchanal swinging parties for up to a hundred couples at a time. Ken makes himself available as the other man for those partners who want to experience a MFM threesome. Arthur sits in the room below his wife, Betty, and listens as she takes lover after lover after lover.
Ashley Lister, a freelance writer, author, and reporter, has met countless singles, couples, and triples involved in the UK's recreational sex scene. Meeting people who have turned their fantasy lives into reality, he uncovers today's swinging Britain and reveals the sexy, shocking, and true secrets of what happens behind closed doors.

I liked the layout of this book. I also liked that this author tackled a subject that seems so taboo. I was pleased with the stories and this book really changed my perception on swinging.
I was expecting a good racy read with some serious sociology mixed in. A bit like "The Joy of Sex" It turned out to be neither. It's a bunch of b-grade erotic stories, most of which read like 100% fiction. If you want that, buy one of Susie Bright's collections. I must admit, though, that the narrator does some excellent British regional accents.
This book is 5% stories from people interviewed by the author and 95% erotic fantasy, which makes the 5% also likely complete fantasy. Don't read this if you want to learn or understand anything about the lifestyle. And if you want an erotic fantasy, well even then this may not sate your desire.
like it's real like atmospheric feeling, made you feel it was a under study and not a story.
This book is more of a survey of the different types swing. It's not meant to be a purely erotic stories. It recounts a one tale each of several different types of group sex. The narrators performance is the best part of the book, although I did find the book to be mostly educational and erotic enough to hold my interest.
If you are just curious about Swingers or are thinking about embracing the lifestyle this is the book for you.Very informative and immensely entertaining. How shocked can you be?
"One of the best!"
One of if not THE best books written on this topic - entertaining, informative and erotic it explains the funny side, the emotional side and what makes us all different - well worth listening to.
To be honest I was hoping for a factual informative review of what is really going on in the swingers scene..idle curiosity . I havent laughed quite that much for some time..the tears were rolling down my face..totally absurd and completely fictional. The voices by the narator were "mental". I dont really know how you could tell a storey like this and sound serious. Maybe someone somewhere will get a kick out of this. I just could not endure another sitting of this craziness ,and, so deleted it well before finishing listening to it .....I feel like I was sucker punched...you know.........mugged .A bit like the way my credit card was debited without me really knowing it was going to happen. The realization that I had opted for another month's membership to this club out of my own naivety caused a great deal more heat and excitement than SWINGERS. My opinion....dont do it! your just going to make a fool out of yourself ..go for a good old sherlock Holmes story and a stiff brandy. Want some excitement? Try some ginseng in your diet!!!!!!! Sorry Ashley Lister and Paul Dundas....I dont think that I could do any better. Top marks for making me laugh myself to sleep........never again matey!
"Swinging NE UK"
