Hot!... but...don't care for the punishment scene

I understand that this is an intro to BDSM slavery submissive realm. I understand the exploitation of women nudity. However, I was in two minds with the punishment scene. I'm not sure if I agreed with it. It kind of diminished Damon's character for me. Having already read the entire series, I can assure you Damon is one of the prominent Doms. You will need to get over the punishment scene if it bothers you. And, eventually like his character; as all his other qualities are breathtaking.

I did wonder through out the book if Serena had a back bone or not. Sometimes she was strong and other times dense. Eventually, you will conclude that she is strong.

The narration is just perfect. Loved it. Very descriptive and provocative scenes come to life with the perfect narration.

You will thoroughly enjoy this book and there's more to come. The books just get hotter!

love the book keep them coming it keep you on gour toes I couldnt put it down have read it a lot and the more times I read it the better it gets

More touching than I thought it could be

Wow, I almost stopped listening to this book at the beginning. When Serena sent Dameon the email describing her fantasies; I had to FF. I was embarrassed for Serena. The email almost made me dislodge my eyes during the eye rolls. I kept going, however, and this ended up being a beautiful, touching love story. A very hot beautiful love story. I shed more than a few tears; some happy and some sad. Don’t worry, there is a HEA, eventually. Don’t skip this book!

Loved this

Romantic and BDSM great mix of sex and romance. Loved the characters Strong woman and man that want the private life and sex life to be their way. I loved the way they found each other and respected each other.

The raw emotion, fear, and lust all into one book! Just when you least expect the love to grow, it hits you like a train! Serena-such a shy and unspoken person. Damien-the dom who wants control........Fair warning though-YOU WILL CRY!!!!!!

Serena-I can relate to her in so many ways!

CRIED!!!! Sad thing is it wasn't even the main concern of the book-something so off topic, you almost forget about it

I would recommend this book if you are not afraid of explicit content. I debate whether this is good or bad behavior for a woman but it is her choice and she can always say no.....

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sweet Persuasion?

No specific memorable moments but I enjoyed hearing about all the other characters this series is about.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

I am not enjoying the narrator, but I am able to tolerate her. She speaks too fast and there is something about her tone that sounds fake.

You pretty much can't go too wrong with any of her books. Shayla Black is another similar writer

YES!

wow - this one is not for the timid

it was good the chemistry between serina and Damon is incredible. but the sexcscenes are intense!

great author, great series, average book

I love Maya Banks but this book wasnt my favorite! I'm not sure exactly what it was but I just didnt feel like the characters were very connected. I felt their connection more when they were side characters in other books in this series. disappointing. But I still love Maya and her writing style!

OH SOOOOO SWEET BUT MUCH MUCH MORE

I love M.B.'s books and this one was is no exception - it had everything you would expect from one of her books namely passion, pleasure, plenty of hot sex all wrapped up in a great story with sensative characters.

Whilst I'm not into bdsm I get that some are, and this book treats it as part of a loving willing and giving partnership that is her fantasy - which is what the story is all about and how it backfires on her. She soon realises that it's not at all what she wants with heartbreaking consequences. This book was touching as the two lovers became drawn to each other and it took you along with them as their passions journeyed to it's final heartwarming conclusion.

Worth a credit? Oh that would be a big fat YES I 'm loving this series and I'm downloading the rest of them now. This could be a stand alone book but why miss a single book in this brilliant series.
