Isabella may look feminine and unassuming, but she's hell in a bodice with gunslinging skills to match any man's. But though she knows not to give Sam her heart as readily as she offers him her lush body, Isabella is certain she sees in Sam what he can barely glimpse in himself - a virtuous man dropped deep into a hard country bent on breaking him. A man who, under it all, craves a passionate woman willing to risk everything.

I love the character Sam. I really liked him when he was introduced in
Caine's Rechoning. His story is just right for him. The sex is quite graphic, so be forwarned. If you like hot, hot steamy alpha males, Sam's the man. Enjoy.
The book would have been better if they would have used the same narrator from Caine's Reckoning. Books narrated by men are not good at doing female voices, but most female narrators are good at the male voices. That's why I gave this audiobook 2 stars, because of narrator you really couldn't feel the story.
Love books, preferably romance and suspense. Typically read/listen to 3-5 a week.
I liked the book, I was not too thrilled with the ending, but over all the book kept my attention. I actually enjoyed the narrator. The narrator can either make the book or ruin it for you. I felt this one did a good job in keeping the characters separate and interesting. I hope we don't have to wait another 6 mos for another one
This book was so average compared to the first book. I really did not like the narrator who did not do a good job with the female voice (terrible). The female lead sounded unbelievable or childish. Good characters that can be used for a good plot but just did not seam to work. Really predictable in so many ways.
I love this author's previous books. I have not gotten past the first chapter of this book however, the reader is just that, reading the book. It is as if he is reading the words for the first time. Since I like this author, I keep going back to the book, but a few pages into it, I give up. My recommendation is to listen to the "Sample" and see if you can tolerate the reader.
This book was not as good as the first in the series (Caine's Reckoning), but it was nice to have a continuation of the original story. I would have enjoyed having more interaction with the rest of the Hell's Eight gang -- it would have made the story less one dimensional. Also, I found the character of Isabella to be lacking in depth and just a little spoiled. The character of Sam was very appealing, and the narrator did an excellent job with his voice! However, the narrator's portrayal of Isabella's voice was just off putting, and may have contributed to why I didn't like her.
If you liked Caine's Reckoning, Sam's Creed is worth a listen, if only to keep you up to date with how the story is progressing. I hope the next story expands around more than just Tucker and his love interest.
I've always been a avid reader so now I'm a avid listener. I prefer the paranormal genre but I do like to switch things up. It's boring if you don't have variety. Of course I do love the romance and the hotter the better. Also, you can't beat a good thriller filled with suspense and a ending you can't even guess at until the very end.
It was a disappointment. After Caine's Reckoning I was expecting another fantastic book and this one is just average. At times I was wondering if it was by the same author.
Just the continuation of the story of the Hell's Eight men. It was not as passionate as I expected it to be.
Sexy deep voice.
It's not what I expected after listening to Caine's Reckoning. I want to finish out the story of the Hell's Eight men and I can only hope that the other books in the series are better and are up to the same quality of the first book.
Action, romance and sexy hot Rangers.
The book was full of suspenseful moments.
I really liked his narrating. That helps to make a good book and keep you involved.
I have listened to this series twice now. 👍🏻👍🏻
Use an other narrator. This one can not do wimmens woises. Everything is in the same tone - FLAT!
I don't know...
The mans voise is to raspy and the woman carracter is just flat - same tone wheter she in exited, afraid ore just "takling".
I don't know - did not make it so far...
In my opinion this is the best out of the series so far. The interaction between Sam and Bella is lively and sexy. Makes me want to cuddle up with "Wildcard" myself.
The others in the series. All rough alpha males with lots of testosterone!
His voice dragged in the narration and I found this very annoying and frustrating. I did love the way he did Sam's voice and Bella's was ok but not great, but I thought the way he did Tucker's voice was totally disgusting. Tucker is a very large and muscular half Indian alpha male and he made him sound like teenage surfer dude! Totally repulsive. Would have been much more effective with a southern drawl like Sam's. Sam's was totally sexxyyyyyy!
Yes but I always want to finish a book once I start one but I listen to and from work or when doing housework, so I can't.
