Good, not great

I did enjoy this book quite a bit, but the narrator was difficult to get used to - his character voices were pretty good, but while reading the non-voiced parts, I found him monochromatic and drull.
Overall it was nice to pick up on the next book in the series... though I still feel the first was a better read.

First Impressions

At first I heard the persons voice and he was very monotone. I thought this was going to be a very long boring book. But after that first impression I got use to his voice and was pleasantly surprised that I liked the book and the narrator lost his monotone voice.

This book is great once you get used to the narrator's voice, which takes a little time but hang on it's worth it! Lots of hot sex which for some might be a bit much...and the crossover into violence may be considered questionable for some. Overall worth the book credit!!! Can't wait to start Tucker's story!!!

More please! Hell's 8 series is sensual! While the narrator took a bit getting used to...sentences didn't flow all that nicely. The story line was absorbing and the characters were colorful. I wish there was more by this author. She has a Promises, series that has won awards, and I don't understand why they are not featured here.

I absolutely loved this - the story line and charachters were great but the narrator Jason Adams made this book for me - wish he would have done the whole series!!!

The book is HOT

This story is well developed, the characters are interesting and the sex is HOT! There are a few flaws but they are minor compared to the story as a whole.

The narrator is the main reason I liked this book more than Caine's Reckoning. Jason Adams' talent is amazing - I had to remind myself several times that all of the voices were done by one man. I look forward to more of his performances. He certainly did an award winning job with this book.

Not as Good as the First Book

I liked the characters in this book but there were times it just went so far over the top I found myself rolling my eyes. The whole plot of the Bella seducing Sam was wonderful but they started on the sex on horseback scene which seemed to be drawn out longer than I could imagine, I found myself hitting the forward button often. I loved the story other than some of the eroticsm came across as forced and not my cup of tea. Sam was pushing for more kink than a supposed virgin in the time period would have taken to so easily and I got very squeamish when he didn't listen to her saying "no". Ruined the book for me.

Very fun and likeable

I enjoyed this one much more than Caine's book. The narrator was very good and I loved Bella's Character. This one makes you really want to stick with the series and learn more about the men of Hell's Eight.

Gonna finish series because...

These stories can be a little slow or redundant but I want to hear the other books and know where the characters go. Overall worth the credit.
