When you have a good story line and they all include fun sexy provocative and intrigue these are the makings of an addiction. Can't wait for the next one.

great storyline

I loved the storyline and the uniqueness of each character that was truly unexpected along with the unexpected twists and turns that caused me to become addicted as the story went on and the fire/fight between the two got stronger.

Just as good or better than the book, must listen

I loved this book when I read it but loved it even more after hearing it. I especially loved the parr when Lexi tries out Rubi's app and started her conversation with Jax. The love scenes were very well written and explicit which was a change from other books I've read that don't go into this much detail. Hot, hot, hot! I will definitely be reading and listening to the rest of this series.

Refreshing characters

For once, a male character who is not a millionaire or billionaire! And a heroine who can save herself and help him as well in the end! The narration was also generally good.

Erotic Romance

Just erotic enough but without vulgarity in my opinion. Always like a good vicarious romp.

Sweet Sexy Romance

I really liked this book. It was fun from beginning to end and the characters were so real and easy to connect to. I loved Jax right away. I felt bad for him and how women seemed to take advantage of him. He had a chip on his shoulder and rightfully so after what his recent ex did to him. Lexi was a little more difficult to like. There was something about her that rubbed me the wrong way, but I did appreciate all that she had set up for herself. I liked that she was so strong and independent.

How Lexi and Jax meet is great and the anticipation that led up to them actually meeting in the flesh was awesome. I couldn’t put the book down, I need to know if the chemistry that was so obvious between them via text was going to be as palpable in person. And it was. It was amazing and I loved them together. I knew things wouldn’t be perfect the entire time and I appreciated the time that they spent apart. I liked that for the most part things weren’t drawn out too long. And in the end everything that the characters and the readers go through was worth it.

I am excited to read the next book in the series. I loved Rubi and Wes and I loved the few times they got to interact with each other. I just know the sparks will be flying when they meet up again. This is a great start to a series and I am intrigued by the secondary characters. I hope that we get to see more of Jax and Lexi in the future books as my one complaint is that this book ended just a smidge too soon. I wanted just a little more of this sexy, sweet couple.
