Publisher's summary

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • The third book in the sexy, emotionally charged Stark trilogy—a romance between a powerful man who’s never heard “no” and a fiery woman who says “yes” on her own terms

Beautiful, strong, and commanding, Damien Stark fills a void in me that no other man can touch. His fierce cravings push me beyond the brink of bliss—and unleash a wild passion that utterly consumes us both.

Yet beneath his need for dominance, he carries the wounds of a painful past. Haunted by a legacy of dark secrets and broken trust, he seeks release in our shared ecstasy, the heat between us burning stronger each day.

Our attraction is undeniable, our obsession inevitable. But our happily ever after? I still don’t know, and yet I’ll risk everything for a chance at forever.

Don’t miss any of the Stark Saga, intended for mature audiences.

Wow, Another Hit!

I read the reviews and they are mixed but I have to say that I really liked this third book. Damien and Nikki are intense, sexual and have an undeniable attraction. There was a lot more sex in this book but I think it worked. (Who does not like steamy sex?) I liked the plot twist and the fact the story continues from where it left off. However, I like dominant, seyx alpha males so this was not a disappointment. So I will say yes it is worth the credit and don't judge the book by the negative reviews. If you liked the first two books then I don't feel this one will disappoint you. I thought it was well worth the credit.

Great ending to the series!

I enjoyed this book. It tied all the loose ends together. Some reviews have said there is no plot but I'm not sure that we listened to the same book, as this book complete the series.

WOW! well worth the credits.

I completed the first 3 books of The Stark Series. Excellent love story, steamy sex and the storyline caused me to gasps and comment out loud throughout. I'm now hooked on the series and downloaded all the "Stark" saga books. I will always prefer male voices for male characters and female voices for female characters, but Sofia did an awesome job.

Predictable and slightly disapointing.

The third and final book in the Stark Trilogy has back stepped a little for me; it wasn't as good as the second book, but still better than the first.

** spoiler alert**
It starts off with the drama of the trial in Germany, and with the amount of build up for it and the seriousness of a murder trial you'd expect that to play a large roll in the book... but no, day 1 of the trial and it's suddenly dismissed. Done, lets go home. Seriously? I think it should have taken up more of the storyline. I get that the reason the trial was dismissed takes over the drama portion of the story, it just seems like such a big thing that was too easily dismissed.

When they finally come out of their protective bubble there are several issues distressing the couple, and it seemed that drama is hitting them from all sides. Constant rumors popping up in the tabloids, his ex girlfriends, and the threat of Damien's past going public, not to mention some crazy person stalking Nikki.

Damien is slowly starting to open up to Nikki; Nikki is finally taking the steps to being her own boss, and despite all the drama surrounding them they seem to be happy. At one point in this book though, I almost feel like they've adopted Jaimie - taking her on a mini vacation, staying at the house with them, wrecking the Ferrari. sigh.

The whole book just had this blah vibe to me, another billionaire dom with a tortured past getting his happily ever after... There were some suspenseful moments that caught me off guard, Sophia in particular. I knew she was behind it, just didn't expect her to be in plain sight the whole time. A lot of it you could see coming and that's a bit disappointing. There were so many potentially good plots I could visualize that it's almost sad nothing came from them.

All in all it was a good series, nice for a few days of reading. It's not spectacular, I don't want to read it again or see a movie made out of it, but just another check off my list of books

Ummm....

I was not to happy with the ending to this trilogy. I am glad that its or and there will not be a book 4. The best part of this book was the last 1.5 hr. I want to say it was all worth it but there were alot of PowPows but sad to say I didn't care for them. My mind must have wonder off and picked back up to the last 1.5 hr. LOL. I say get the last one and see how J.J ends it and move on to another book. Worth a credit sure...just to finish the series. Happy Listening!

Twists and turns galore

This installment in the trilogy brings mystery, whodunnit factors, and a lot of hot sex.
I didn't think I could find a series as "stimulating" as the Crossfire series but wow... this outdid it in my opinion. The ending is satisfying though there is some heartbreak thrown in for good measure. Not spoiling it.
