Godzilla of the West

This is a Godzilla book - the story is lame, the characters are lamer, the editing is nonexistent, the narration is dreadful, the voices do not match the action or characters. Godzilla at least has some redeeming social value but as far as I can see, this book's only borderline value is sex education
And yet I listened all the way to the end - which probably says more about me than the book!!

I was surpised that I loved these characters

Thought that this would be a quick read - but I loved it and can't wait to hear more about the folks at Hells Eight. Audible please don't let us down !!

Western Love...

If you like love stories and westerns then this book is for you. It will twist at your heart and your soul. The love scenes in the book are very erotic and heart pumping.

Fun and hot

The narrator does a fine job, and the story rolls right along. Effective evocation of power relationships in a lawless society: the brave and the cowardly, the rich and the poor, the corrupt and the honorable, men and women. And smokin' sex.

This firecrack loves Caine!

I was completely surprised with this book. I'm not a western type of girl keep in mind. I love erotica but I don't like porn. (trust me there is a difference) I truly cared about the characters. This book has a pace to it that some people might view as slow but I like to think of if as character development. This is not a book for a prude! The sex scenes had me blushing but my toes were curling as well. I think the narrator did a good job with everyones voice except Caine. It took me an hour or so to stop thinking missing teeth and Deliverance when he spoke but I'm not for a country twang accent anyways. There was so many sweet tender moments that brought me to tears. This is by far my favorite erotic audiobook I have ever purchased. Well worth the money!

Loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely loved this audiobook. This was my first listen to an audiobook. I fell in love with both Desi and Cain. I couldn't stop listening. I even listened to it at work. You have got to listen to this one. I really wish this was a series. Narrator was right on with voices and will captivate you.

Sexy read...enjoyed the characters

I really enjoyed the pace of this book, the characters, and the erotica. I enjoyed the fact that the book had a plot and also the funny moments I actually laughed out loud. This was my first book of hers and I immediately purchased and listened to all the others in this series. I am now a fan.

I'm not sure where id rank it but it was a good listen even though i had to fast forward it thru certain parts

I enjoyed the book but some scenes were a little much forme but i just fast forwarded over those parts and it was fine

Great book, great series!

I am new to the audio book world. I read much in high school and in college but mostly romance not erotica. Finding time to read now is almost impossible. Finding audible.com was a wonderful discovery! I love Zane's books but after finishing the few on audible.com I was struggling to find the same excitement, humor and fascinating story line until I read Caine's Reckoning. I was intrigued, appalled, embarrassed and completely satisfied after the read (or the listen!). I didn't want the story to end so much that I skipped to Trackers Sin after Cain's Reckoning (I hope I'm not the only guilty one), and again felt the same as before with the same satisfaction at the end of the book. I listed to the last two the next week and then listen to Cain's Reckoning again! All I can say is WOW! You are a gifted writer Sarah, thank you! Audible please post more of her books, how about the Promise Series?? I have credits waiting on them!!
