A vacation at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun...who could turn that down? A librarian named Sunny, that's who. After learning that her best friend, Tiffany, can no longer accompany her on their dream vacation, Sunny is prepared to stay home in her safe little world. Tiff is having none of that and forces Sunny to take the trip as well as promise to have enough fun for the both of them. Capitulating, Sunny boards the plane with nothing more than her beloved naughty books and her vivid imagination as her travel companions. The only redeeming factor is that she will have an entire week to indulge herself - even if only in her fantasies.
Mexico has so much to offer - the sparkling Caribbean Sea, white beaches, and lush green rainforests. And the heat is not confined to the sun. Sultry Latin men with nefarious plans, an ancient civilization, and incredibly sexy identical cowboys give her everything she needs to fuel her daydreams. So why does one face keep creeping into her dreams?
Ever since she witnessed Tiff's older brother spanking his girlfriend, her mind has replayed and rewritten the scene a thousand times. How many times has she imagined taking the place of the girl over his lap, begging her Daddy not to spank her anymore? But how can Trent become not only her lover but her Daddy if he doesn't know she is alive?
Every time Trent has tried to talk to Sunny, she hurries away, but the look in her eyes has his every instinct humming. Learning that she is alone in Mexico, his plan begins to develop. The moment he spies the beautiful, half-naked young woman over-indulging in Jose Cuervo, he knows it's time to bare his heart and, of course, turn her over his knee and spank her bare bottom. She's always been his Little Sunny but it's time to teach her all the ways she could burn.
What will happen when Sunny discovers that while she could easily choreograph a fantasy and wake up before she truly paid a price for her naughtiness, spankings given by a real flesh and blood Daddy on a bare backside really hurt!? Or is Trent just a figment of her imagination and she is still dreaming?

Love books. Can get lost in them and spend hours there.
Good storyline and I love the narrator.

I am all for DDlg books, this one sadly did not captivate me. I enjoyed the narrators acting and voices for the main characters. I wish the story made me feel for the characters, have a bit more heart and showed the beauty of DDlg lifestyle better.
I liked the narration in A Little Sunshine. As always she brings the characters to life. I really felt that both of these people should be in counseling.
No it has not turned me off from the genre. I just felt I had to go back and listen again as I must have missed something. When I found I had not it was really frustrating with all her daydreaming.
The ending when he is romantic like an adult would be. I really felt that both these people were going to have problems in when real life happens to them.
No It would be too sad.

This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review. The story was an interesting one with lots of daydreams, however they caused me to be confused as to what was happening from time to time. I had to restart and listen again several times to see if I could follow what was going on. The erotic daydreams were very steaming and a good eargasim. The narrator did a good job and wasn't an annoying voice, the story was what could be considered a little annoying due to the writing style.

For starters I will say this type of book is not my cup of tea. I'm glad its out there for people that enjoy specific erotica but it wasn't for me. The story centers around the fantasy of one 24 year old woman on vacation in Mexico. Every few scenes a new fantasy focused on the act of spanking begins. If you really are into that then this book will be for you. I imagine some may even bore of that as well. There isn't really much of a story as each of these fantasies don't really have much of an impact on the others. You could have the scenes in the book occur in any order and it wouldn't impact the story much at all.
On to the Narration. Meghan Kelly is really good at keeping the book entertaining. The multiple voices and accents she used manage to keep the story entertaining. I will be looking for more books narrated by her.
No!!!!!! The story-line was hard to follow. I goes back and forth from reality to dream/fantasy and makes you crazy.
An occasional Daddy in a story is ok, but that is all Sunny sees in men. Its like serious daddy issues. And the way it is portrayed I was starting to feel a little creeped out! And Trent want to be called daddy (or maybe it was in Sunny's head) all the time was feeling a little like he had serious child molester issues. And Toby Keith's song who's your daddy kept playing in my head! The narration was awesome! I have listened to Meghan Kelly before and she does a great job.

I really like the story. There were some parts that threw me off. But overall, I really feel like it was a nice escape to listen to sunshine tall tales...
Read/Listen, Review and Recommend!
Sunny goes on an all-inclusive vacation to Cancun, her best friend was supposed to join her but her family got sick and she had to stay behind and tend to them.
It was a little bit predictable but not at the same time. Sunny enjoys fantasizing about a naughtier side to sex starring her best friend’s brother, Trent. I enjoyed the fantasy parts of the book it keeps you wondering that’s for sure.
I am totally fine with the kink of this book other than the “daddy” parts. I don’t know why that word just doesn't do it for me. But to each there own I say. If that’s what you’re in to who am I to say it’s not right.
I did very much enjoy the trust Trent needed and wanted before moving forward with somethings. I think that gave him more depth since he stared in the book but wasn't really in the book for a long time, if that makes sense.
With each book narrated by this narrator, I love her more and more. Her male voice is one of the best from a female I have listened to. This is a shortish book with a happy ending.. *wink*
