For Casey, having to run her family’s vacation ranch after her father’s death is difficult. Dealing with the owner of a rival ranch who is determined to ruin her business is even more challenging. Add in the possibility of losing her home because of some crazy stipulation in her father’s will, one which requires at least one of his daughters to provide proof of a husband by a specific date, and things get much, much worse.

With time running out, Casey has no choice but to accept the help of one of her guests. The handsome stranger has intense dark eyes and a drool-worthy body, and happens to love fishing as much as she does. Best of all, he wants to be her groom, so what could possibly go wrong?

Great Storyline

Sometimes the story gets lost in the $ex or drags on. This one did not. It's a great short story. But I definitely can't wait for the next book.

Great Series Starter

This was a great start to a new series. The characters were endearing while the story line kept me engaged. The narrator did a great job of breathing life into this story and made this a quick, fun listen.

Great read

This is a really good story about fated mates. Braden is wanting to find his mate and he takes a trip from Alaska to Wyoming. There he meets his fated mate Casey who runs a shifter friendly dude ranch. With trouble brewing for Casey and her sisters, Braden steps up to help out his mate along with his cousin Jake.
I loved how well this book is written and narrated. The story had just enough drama and steamy scenes, it keep me intered until the end and wanting more.

Engaging His Mate!

Casey runs a Montana, shifter friendly, dude ranch with her sisters. Their father ahs passed leaving an interesting stipulation in his will. Braden, an Alaskan bear shifter and his cousin, Jake, have been unsuccessful finding mates. It is suggested they visit the ranch. Is it another bad idea? Casey and Braden meet, they are fated. I enjoyed their story and the chemistry between them. There is a little bit of mystery and suspense in this story. The narrator did a good job with this story.

Cute

Brayden and Casey have a fun, fake relationship romance. Casey trying to meet the requirements of her father's will and Brayden taking a vacation with his cousin both find something unexpected. I love how Brayden was willing to take things at Casey's pace. This is a cute story with an amazing cast of characters that made this story even better. The narrator, Laurie West, did well in keeping me interested and conveying emotions.

Engaging His Mate

The first book in the Crescent Canyon Shifters series. I enjoyed listening to this story of Casey and Braden with its drama, suspense, twists turns and romance. I am looking forward to reading the next book

a good story

I enjoyed this paranormal shifter story with the two main characters that were Casey Walker and Braden Matthews. And also the rest of the characters too.

Casey Walker and her sister's are trying to run their family's vacation ranch since their father past a way. Their father put a crazy stipulation in his will that requires at least one of his daughters to provide proof of their marriage to a shifter or the ranch will be gone.  But with time running out Casey and her sister's must find a way to save the ranch.

Braden Matthews is a bear shifter. When his cousin tell him that he has book a trip to a dude ranch vacation spot he is not to happy about this. Because his cousin can get the most crazy ideas so that they can find their mates. And most of the ideas don't go so well.

This was a fun short read for me. This book had adventure, a little bit of suspense and also action throughout it. I enjoyed it because that author had quite a few laughs through out the story.

Braden finds his mate

Braden has accepted that he will be alone as his bear has no interest in any of the females he has met. He is content to spend his life fishing and working at the family tackle shop. But his cousin has other plans who intent on finding his mate, books a trip to a dude ranch in Wyoming. Braden had never left Alaska and knows nothing about horses but his cousin used his credit card to pay for it.

Casey and her sisters are having a hard time running the ranch since their father’s death. The rivalry with the neighboring ranch and the will stipulation has stressed her to the limits. If one of the sisters does not have a husband by the specified dated they will lose the ranch.

When Braden first meets Casey he knows she is his mate, but with her not being a shifter he is taking it slow and not going to tell her yet. When the subject of her needing a husband comes up, Braden volunteers for the job.

Casey feels things for Braden but he is just doing her a favor and is only temporary, right?

I normally prefer a male narrator but I did enjoy this one.

Brayden and Casey!

This couple is the sweetest! I want a Brayden! I like the way the different perspectives are from more then just the main characters! Creating a wonderful level of foreshadowing! I also listened to the audio copy and the narrator was wonderful!!.

Sexy Bear Shifter

I was not sure I was going to like this book when I started to listen to it. I quickly change my mind, I have enjoyed this book and the two main characters. I’m hoping there’s going to be more in the series. I’m looking forward to reading about Jake and Fred, the reserved cook, she seem interesting. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to listen to shifter romances.
