Publisher's summary

I've got three months to prove to her this fake relationship is real....

As the Seattle Sharks' number one Enforcer, nothing means more to me than hockey. I live and breathe the game.

But when my short-temper gets me into one too many late night brawls, coach threatens to bench me if I don't clean up my act. It'll take more than me changing my nightlife habits - the media needs this bad boy to go good.

Paige Turner - the gorgeous, off-limits best friend of my bro's fiancee - has the solution. About to take over as acting CEO of her family's multi-billion-dollar corporation, she'll have to sign a morality clause basically kissing any wild-life she wanted goodbye. Her proposition?

I, Rory Jackson - the panty dropper and bed hopper of the Sharks - give her an exclusive relationship for three entire months. Her wholesome image will only brighten my dark one in the press' eyes, and I can help her check off some wicked naughty tasks on her very specific dirty-girl bucket list.

If I screw up and get arrested again, she'll lose everything she's worked her entire life for, but what terrifies me most? At the end of the three months, I won't want to let her go, and with that morality clause, she can't keep me.

Contains mature themes.

Nice Story

Quick read. Good book. No surprises. Ms Sokolov has a nice voice and reads well however she does mispronounce some words and doesn't correctly put emphasis in the correct parts of a sentence. Only a few mistakes, though I have noticed this in other books she has narrated.

Rory is adorable

Rory was adorable in his bad boy gone good performance, he really was trying to be the guy Paige needed him to be despite his inner demons. Paige felt really stuffy, bull headed and better than though attitude in a lot of ways which pulled away from the story in my opinion, but not so much that you couldn't see them getting together. Lost a star for her being annoying, especially near the end
There were a few mispronounced words, specifically geographic locations, that as a resident of the Pacific Northwest felt like nails on a chalkboard, make sure your narrators can pronounce the locations like the locals you're pretending they are if you're going to choose a location like Washington or Oregon (which IS mispronounced in the story, BTW it's pronounced Ore-E-GUN not Ore-ah-GONE, the state hasn't gone anywhere) - the region is riddled with indigenous names like Puyallup (Pew-wall-up), Willamette (Will-am-it, say it like damn it), and the list goes on. Lost a star for multiple mispronounced words and locations.
Decent mid to mild spice level - pure vanilla with a mild kick, but zero kink

Good spice- problematic story

Spoilers
Positive- This was a quick free with good spice.
Negatives - I personally don’t like stories when the main female character fall in love with the main male character after sleeping with them once. It’s just very unrealistic and schoolgirl crush, which, considering this woman was supposed to be one of the youngest CEOs in corporate history, that just doesn’t match that kind of personality. Also, I don’t like how the MMC says he has a problem with alcohol, and then the MFC makes him drink alcohol at one of her corporate events and gets upset when something happens because he is essentially drunk. If you know your partner has issues why do you keep supplying him with alcohol?

Sooo cute

This book is about Rory the bad boy and Paige. Rory is Gage’s best friend and Paige is Bailey’s best friend. Rory and Paige decided to do a fake relationship. The relationship was supposed to rebuild Rory’s relationship and a way for Paige to be more spontaneous before she took over her family business. She had 3 months, what she didn’t plan for 1. To fall in love and 2. To end up pregnant. I thought this book was super cute. Just like book one. It was a fast listen and right to the point.
