Great Read for an Author's First Book
I finished this book and was ready to listen to it again! Being from Southern Arizona I love that it was set here and that the Names Old Pueblo and Camelback were used for Tucson and Phoenix. I also loved that Jon honored one of my favorite radio talk show hosts who passed a couple of years back in the novel as well. I can't wait for the next installment in this series if there is one and look forward to reading more of Jon's books when they come out. 5 Stars Jon!

Great First Book!
Likable characters and original technology ideas, it isn’t perfect but it is enjoyable with a good adventure that keeps you interested until the end. I would recommend this book to others without hesitation.

Action packed, Riviting, and Great Story Line
Great book! It's action packed and holds a great story line. The thing I like most is that the story line flows great and is written very well. The author is clearly a fan of Science Fiction as he knows what makes a thrilling story. The writing is amazing and makes you feel like you are sitting side by side with the 5 friends on their travels. The story is so good the second time I decided to listen to book. I really like that the author reads the book because he does an amazing job reading exciting parts of the book with excitement. For sections of the book where characters interact over the communication links he adjusts his voice to sound like someone who would be speaking on the other end of the com. I can't say enough great things about this first book in the series.

A great start to hopefully a dynasty
Fantastic initial offering from Jon, great character development, great story, it grabs you and does not let go and leaves the reader upset that it is over. Also leaves the reader smiling at the planet named Zima, for those that know Jon well, it is a great inside joke to end the book on. Looking forward to the next installment. This has comparisons to Vernor Vinge all over it!
