Wonderful !
The book was insightful, genuine and entertaining. it covers the long life and service of Queen Elizabeth II in a historical, amusing and detailed way. I especially enjoyed hearing it read by the author, who brings so much more real life to the reading of the book. I love it and will listen to it again., many times, I am sure.

fantastic
This was such a great read. The author narrates superbly, and provides intimate details about the late Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family, without being gossipy or inappropriate. He strikes that balance perfectly. I read memoirs, biographies and auto-biographies by the dozens and this one is in my top 5. i highly recommend it.

Love the writing style!
I enjoyed listening to this. The style is perfect. And the author actually met both the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, which made his account of events more reliable. 5 stars.

Puff about the power
I find it easy to poke holes in the authors puff and ardor for Phillip, mistakes about dates and quotes of Chips Chanon who was correct about royal prophecy of things to come while not a courtier and the constant pokes at Meghan Markle with out giving her the dignity of referring to her in title. An obvious royalist with a bias in order to keep his bi-line. A bore with a royal boner.
