La narrazione delle vicende di Eleanor vi precipiterà in un turbinio di emozioni contrastanti. In realtà Eleanor Oliphant "non" sta benissimo, a differenza di quanto dichiari il titolo, ma nel corso del racconto forse riuscirà a stare meglio. All'inizio vi potrà sembrare antipatica, ma probabilmente imparerete ad amarla e vi rimarrà nel cuore.
Eleanor Oliphant ha quasi trent'anni, una misteriosa cicatrice sul volto e una nell’anima. È orgogliosamente solitaria e abitudinaria. Lavora da 21 anni nello stesso ufficio come contabile.
