What a well thought out series

This story is huge, grand and yet, it develops a relationship with the reader making them invested in the richness of their lives. Jonathan Moeller spins a compelling tale, and Steven Brand brilliantly breaths life into it.

grinding it out

loving the story, bouncing from The Empire to Andemhaim. I can't wait to hear about the heroics of my favorite characters in the rest of the series.

Another great adventure continues. Truly enjoyed.

The amazing storytelling does not disappoint. so glad to meet the new characters and reconnect with the others from the prior novels. Thanks again for the effort and talent I so thoroughly appreciated.

Great story but a little too much repetition

I really loved the story but it felt a little stretched with dialog and repetitive details about characters.

I hate Nile!

It was a good book but I simply hate the character Nile! The character has no character and is so irritating that I skipped EVERY place he was referenced. I kept hoping that he would die or ride away but no! Obviously he is in the next book to irritate me to no end. I love the other new characters and now I have to start hating one because she is going to end up with that looser!

The character is so bad that you lost a star.

Good grief.

Romantic Fantasy

In the vein of Victor Hugo and others in the Romantic (but not Fantasy) school of literature, the tension between freewill and determinism is a driving factor of the plot. What a delightful and inspiring integration of two literary genres. Fantastic, romantic, and epic.
