Publisher's summary

The story of DragonMan: Eden follows the story of a man who loses his memory after an attack on humanity fails. Years later, now married with three children, he wakes one day to his true identity and is forced to discover the clues of his past, leading him to discover that he has been leading a double life—one as a newscaster and family man, the other as the son of Satan.

In the beginning, gold was always the focus, never God. Religious practice was designed to control the masses by a secret society. Now, this evil brotherhood, the Order of the Circle of Light, is ready to proclaim a new world order. All of the world's most powerful governments, including our own, are now secretly under their control. Their goal? To enslave humanity.

Millions are about to die. And every man, woman, and child is in grave danger, and no one can see it coming. But an unlikely alliance between the forces of good and evil will join together to try and save mankind.

Can humanity survive what is about to befall them?

Nothing is true, everything is allowed.

Secret Society, Zealots and More!

Nothing like discovering that the nightmares one suffers from every single night are actually memories resurfacing! As if that were not enough, how about finding out that you are also the son of Satan living a secret life??? Or that your nemesis has become your friend and the world is controlled by a secret society of religious zealots with a devastating plan?

The author, Ted Lazaris carefully weaves an action-packed story of control, danger, a secret society, and the lives of humans worldwide hang in the balance. Lazaris is detailed in his storytelling keeping it just vague enough to capture the attention of the listener and keep them listening. The character development was spot-on and satisfying. The plot twists were well-developed.

The narrator, Kevin Perkins is very adept and versatile in his performance. He adapts his unique character voices according to the situation, and the evolving emotions and personalities of the characters. He speaks clearly and with a steady delivery. His skills further enhance the storyline and connect the characters to the audience. He is skilled at delivering surprising moments as well. Perkins was perfect for this audiobook!

Overall, this is an interesting storyline that allows the author to move the story in different ways, and with Kevin Perkins vocalizing the story, it is one to follow! Given this is book 13 in a series of 15, it was easy to follow.
