Great series

Love this series. It is written well and has a great story line. I love that it is written from a LQBTQ perspective. Unlike other novels I have listened to and read the characters are diverse. It’s how I envision a zombie outbreak to be.

Great story but...

The story itself was very good, a different take on the standard zombie genre, however there was way too much sex. The story in no way needed any of the explicit scenes, and to tell you the truth it took away from the book. It was very irritating having to fast forward through all the way too many "hookups", regardless of which characters were doing it.

It's like a 3/4 finished book

It leaves off in a poor spot, author should have found a better stopping point. Good story line.

Wish I would not have believed the 5 stars!

This series could have been great. First, I am a fan of post apocalyptic literature. The zombies were new and terrifying and the characters were well developed. Second, the excessive sexual encounters distracted from the story, not enhanced it. The story just began to feel like the author lost track of the apocalyptic story line and was concentrating on making this a LGBTQ soft porn. The author seemed obsessed with sexuality. Which ruined things for me. I am absolutely not a prude. Some of the more explicit sex scenes, got me some critical looks from passerbys. Third, If there is another book in the series, I will not spend my credit on purchasing it. This series had so much potential and was no where near as good as it could have been.

beware only a sex story

I thought the further I got into these books there would be more action and less sex. But all this series is is one long lead up to sex in every chapter. it gets old when you are thinking you are getting a zombie book. 9
