Storyline was great. Narration was painful.
As an English/reading teacher, this series was painful to listen to because of the reading inflection. The narrator would stop in the middle of sentences and it was just plain hard to listen to. I did really enjoy the storylines, however.

Bad narration? Bad story? Both?
I honestly can't say if the story was good or bad. The narration was horrendous. It was actually painful. I can usually ignore the narration and dig into the story, but I couldn't finish this.
