Publisher's summary

The Universe is a bloody mess. Time to put on your cleaning gloves.

During a routine arrest, Van discovers a stolen spacecraft, its importance far greater than it first appears. Fast, sleek, and beautiful, the ship is a cultural relic from Linulla’s people, and returning their property will set off a chain of events that reveals a new adversary.

Rising in the ranks, Van’s confrontation with a pirate leader isn’t just a case of theft, but something far more sinister. And Van’s going to take this case personally.

He and his crew will chase the Salt Thieves and their leader in a game that can only have one winner. Will Van rise to the challenge? Can Icky control her temper? Will Perry make Icky wear pants? The answers are more complicated than they seem, and far more dangerous, for that matter, than anything Van has ever done before. But he’s got a new edge on the Moonsword, a new rank, and a new crew as he takes his Dragon to the stars with one thing in mind...justice.

Keeps your attention

I saw another review titled “draws you in”, and I couldn’t agree more. It is hard to believe that I have listened to 6 books and can’t wait to start the 7th one. I highly recommended this series to anyone

Fun space opera

Book 6 and the characters continue to develop. Good mix of comedy and hard science fiction.

draws you in

originally I wasn't sure about this series. I was afraid it would just be bland. i am happy to say I was wrong. 5 books later snd I'm still drawn in. I like how it isn't so totally futuristic. it sets the stage well for let's call it primitive Earth and what's actually out there in the harsh galaxy.

this entry shows our much loved crew beaten and battered both physically and mentally as they tirelessly run down leads on the big baddies , yet a New Master is now calling the Shots and he's a stickler.

One thing I really like is that something is FINALLY being done with the Iowa, I felt like it was just a talking piece and no serious activities ever took place to make it usable. until now.

A very solid entry to set the series up for more

A good addition to the series. The action the series had plus some new intrigue and a shift in story line to hive the series more legs.

Big Fan!

I find it’s amazing that the 6th book in the series is every bit of interesting and funny as the previous 5. Stories are very entertaining and, my opinion, very well written.

space man special forces

I think William Shatner would be proud, a series that combines TJ Hooker and Star trek. it's a story that is stuffed with some of the best Traits that humanity has to offer only that the cast is not all human. it's funny ,crude ,sentimental and good entertainment. the narrator sometimes sounds like he is reading stereo instructions, but does a good job of connecting the story with the characters. all in all very enjoyable series. looking forward to the next installment.
