Illusion
Lilly finds romance with Matthew while investing a murder. Ophilia and Lilly do not believe in th Gray Lady Ghost. Many people in the town and the mission believe in the Ghost. There are some new and some familiar characters Captain Jack goes off to sea and isn't there in the town to solving the murder. I found it a pleasure to listen throughout the week

Disappointing..!
My first poor review. If you are fan of good murder mystery, skip this book & the author. This story is like a soup opera. Also the first 3 hours of this plot was so confusing, by introducing characters with side line stories, that I totally lost the tread of the main story! Suffice to say there was a murder, and 4/5-th of the book was just extra, that didn’t have to be there.
However if you are into soup opera type story and have plenty of time, you’ll enjoy this book.
Note; the narrator was not good either, her tone was depressing, she needed some coffee to perk it up.

Too much unneeded information.
Too much 21st century issues forced into an early 19th century story. It didn’t need explaining or improve the story.
