What a Strange and Unusual Story

This story was interesting but definitely very unusual and I not to sure what to make of it. I feel like there should have been more still to listen to, but it ended.

Good story but

The narrator did an awesome job telling the story but for the story it was very weird and in some way really did not make sense to me but to other it would.

I love listening to audiobooks, but sometimes it seems to take forever to finish one! That is one reason I appreciate authors like James Livingood. Mr. Livingood does an excellent job with writing short stories that entertain and tell a great story in a short time. Perfect for those who are looking for great writing and quick satisfaction in their listening.

This story was interesting and evoked visions of Egyptian mummies/zombie slaves. That's all I'm going to say so that the story won't be spoiled for others.

The narrator, Ryan Haugen, does a great job and was perfect for this book. I was given the chance to listen to this audiobook by the author and chose to review it.

An entertaining short read.

I listened to "Dead And In Working Order" in Audible. This was my introduction to Livingood's writing. I look forward to reading more from the author.  I was entertained by this short work.  Livingood does a good job of packing a lot of world building and character development into a small vessel. I reccomend this story in any format.
Let's talk about the narrator. Because, as any NLS Talking Books patron can tell you, the narrator can make, or break an audio book.
Livingood chose well in picking Ryan Haugen.
Haugen brings this tale to life. Making a great story better.

Weird Story

First off I want to say that I have read or listened to several of James Livingood's stories and I liked most of them, but this tale I just could not get into it. In fact I did not even finish it. I did receive this audio book for free and this is my voluntary unbiased review. I will add that Ryan Haugen did a good job of narrating this audio book

Another great Livingood tale

Again, I must say I live Livingood’s writing. (Frankenstein IT is the best!) that being said, here we have a tale to fit the the horror and conspiracy theorists dreams. Ever wonder about the leaps and bounds that humans society has taken? Here is a macabre presentation of how and why our society makes these leaps in tech advancements. sister returns to brother after long absence and search by brother. sister recalled by evil necromancer (Or is he?) and brother goes off to rescue. then mummies....
